Jerry was a fantastic DJ! He was very helpful while we were planning our wedding and gave us some great advice. He did a wonderful job the day of the wedding. I got so many compliments during the day and several days after the wedding on how fun Jerry was. He is a genuinely nice person and I would strongly recommend his services.

Family ReunionReviewed on July 21, 2017From Plum Branch, SC

Jerry is a true professional! He arrived on-time, but we were delayed due to a terrible t-storm that was rolling thru. After setting up and doing his thing, we experienced some technical difficulties that I can attribute to him working outside after the rain which resulted in some electricity issues. This of course was our request to still have him perform outside (just after the rainfall) and our family reunion totally understood. Regardless, his professionalism and outgoing personality made it even better. I would definitely refer his services! Thanks Jerry for being the best professional you can be, even though things didn't go as planned.

A little more coordination of the time line would have been helpful. Also, his speakers seemed a bit quiet at times. Would have liked more volume. I didn't request it though so it possibly could have been turned up very easily. He is a quiet sweet man, until he decides to get on the dance floor. And then he gets the crowd going!

:

I was going by the "directors" cues. Who finally gave up mid wedding, had I known I would have and finally did push for the dances and bouquet and garter, the photography and I wee clueless waiting on director. Some people asked me to turn it down , never up. They were using 3 different rooms and the place was a trainwreck, it was a hard crowd being a Thursday night as the groom loves college football, I got out and did a routine where the groom dances in the middle of all the bridesmaids. Also the bride asked me to come to the rehearsal, the night before without any compensation, well the night of I mentioned to the Dad, that I wasn't asking for more money but for

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on October 18, 2010From Yemassee, SC

Other than being a half hour to 45 minutes late due to a flat tire, Jerry did an acceptable job. My only real complaints were that we specifically asked for no "hokey" performances by staff and we were greeted with a disco ball, sub-par lighting work, and his wife brought out a tamborine during the reception. She also changed into jeans and a t-shirt mid-reception and proceeded to continue to participate.. this was a BLACK TIE reception. From a musical standpoint, we were acceptably satisfied except that we made a playlist for him and expected to hear a little more of that music instead of the traditional "crowd pleasers" such as the music from Dirty Dancing...

:

The black tie event had many people in shirts, I have done many black tie events. I had a flat tire, called ahead, I was setup prior to start time. I was setting up lights and the groom said they did not want any. We played a majority of 40's 50's Rat Pack music. A family member came over and wanted more "dance" type music, the bride came over and she said it was ok, and she even said it was great at the end of the night. The caterer was much behind, so I dont know what may have been going on, however in 30 years I have never been late or missed a job. the family member even said we need to get this party going because some people are leaving. My wife changed clot

WeddingReviewed on August 9, 2016From Augusta, GA

Positives: Jerry is a genuine person with a warm heart! Very professional and tried his best to make my wedding day special! He stayed past hours and provided a video of our ceremony (free). However, he'd do better at family reunions with older crowds (50+). Music was very outdated (didn't know who Coldplay was). Played the songs I requested prior (standard wedding songs: "Uptown Funk" & "Happy") but some were the obscure remix versions. There was a lot of dead air during the reception, so there was no flow through the night (or with the songs for dancing). This was feedback from my guests, not just me. Overall, Jerry gets an A+ for character, C+ for DJ services.

:

I played their playlist they sent me and no dead air video proves it Also I love the fact for 3 extra hours of work and a video they paid me an extra 75.00 And I had to hunt them down to get paid, text them called and finally they said come to their room to get paid

Jerry was fantastic. Stayed in contact with us throughout the lead up to our wedding and everyone had such a good time with his music selection. Would highly recommend.

Mr. Peeler is a nice gentleman, but I would not recommend him. The music for our Wedding was VERY important to me & my husband. I typed out the songs to play for the Prelude, Ceremony, Cocktail hour & Reception & sent him my Amazon Playlist w/the songs for the labeled for entire evening. Mr. Peeler didn't play the songs loud enough during the ceremony & during the reception. During our First Dance you could barely hear the music & he cut the song off before it was over. During the Reception he played songs not on the lists, so my Bridesmaids, our Wedding Coordinator & friends had to go up & tell Mr. Peeler songs to play. Total waste of money! Such a disappointment!

:

The client sent me 140 songs of which 15 can be played in an hour. The minister interrupted one song and Planner was delaying bridal walk. Everybody seemed happy dancing , especially when I got the groom in the middle doing Rocky Top. As a DJ I’ve never had a bride and for that matter a wedding planner like this. I also asked the bride to send me stuff since Jan 1 and final email with changes the morning of wedding at 8:30 am. Many people talked about how good the music was. However on the on set when I played Love and Marriage after cake cutting song, I do always as a jest. The MOH came running to me saying the bride is difficult Other things were involved that
