We hired R.K. sounds to provide DJ Karaoke services at our home for an adult birthday party. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received and the service was no less. DJ Berto did an excellent job handling a very eager group of karaoke fanatics. He was professional and a ton of fun. We would definitely recommend R.K. Sounds!

I was not happy with R.K. Sounds at ALL. He gave my guest nothing but trouble when they requested songs. I had to stop talking to my friends and go tell him to play what they were requesting. He screwed up first names in our introductions not last names. Changed my son and my husbands names. All he had to do was read it off a paper. Called my grandson Tracey instead of Trace. Really!! He never said two words to get people dancing. My husband and I were very disappointed. I also wanted to have RK Sounds paid in advance but it took a month to get them to cash my checks. Not very professional. My husband and I would never recommend RKSounds to anyone. Sue Siegle

Let's be honest please. We believe clients are always right but surprisingly the facts recorded on the dj's both camera don't match the clients account of event that night. We would like the client to let us post that video in fairness to all for the public to judge for themselves on the treatment given to the dj. Professionally the dj played 8 new playlist of over 52 songs on top of a previous playlist sent in by the bride and groom of 172 songs. Everyone was in charge and demanding their requests be played right now. I was pleased with how professional RK Sounds was in person. Very well dressed, arrived on time, very personable and professional. There was a little lack of communication leading up to the event, which I take some responsibility for myself, but I would have liked to have had phone calls and emails returned more promptly.
Overall, bravo to RK Sounds and thank you!

Robert was on time and set up completely for the event. He played the songs in our playlist, but I hadn't realized he was going to play the videos with some of the songs as well. The young elementary school families were a bit put off by that addition.

Overall i was very disappointed with the service. They arrived in plenty of time and were all set up to when we arrived but they seemed very disorganized. We had to do all our own announcing during the reception. We gave them a list of special songs to during the dance but they played the father daughter dance song during the cocktail hour. They didn't handle requests very well and the transitions from song to song were terrible. They would start a song and then jump to another one. Very very very disappointing and would NOT recommend them to any one else.

it is weird that you decided to alter the truth. We were very organized and your husband wanted the handled announcements himself. He asked to take the microphone with which was OK with us. You and your wedding party kept asking to stop the music for a special song/request. I remember you saying right now i wanna dance with my son, line dance, for the old folks song, to make a speech, and more. Actually asked for an extension of 1.5 hours so we wanna thank you for your business though.

Both were very friendly. My only complaints would be that it took too long for them to change up the songs. Also them recording my wedding. But otherwise things were fine.

The crew from R. K. Sounds was exceptional. Our site and group presented some very difficult challenges. We had some very tight space issues at our reception once all the overbooked seating was laid out. Our group had issues moving and dancing within the confines of our site. These issues presented signifigant unusual obstacles for R. K. Sounds to overcome. They did not miss a beat and performed above our expectations. We had several of our guests comment on the superior level of equipment, sound, and overall performance. I know many requests for buisness cards transpired between my guests and the crew. I had sent them a list with times and songs to be played at my wedding. They often asked me what song was supposed to be played and when. They even played the wrong song a few times... As if I didn't have enough going on being the bride and all. Sorry, but, the last thing I wanted to do on my wedding day is host the party myself!
Yes, the DJs were nice, yes they played music, and I was determined to make the most of my day, but I was unsatisfied with the additional work I personally had to put in and would not recommend them to my friends.
They had all the music I requested. They played a couple songs twice. They did stay about 4 minutes late per my request.

She is just being malicious we have a video showing her having fun and talking to the Dj authorizing them to take requests and not worry about the play list again and at her worst wasted and acting ... Before bride walked in her friend had wanted the microphone to do the MC/introduction so that was not our fault. When she returned the mic the Dj took over, announcing and mcing your dollar dance. We only asked what song was supposed to be played because your MC had said something different from what you had sent us. I was dissapointed with my experience with RK Sounds. It was difficult to get a hold of them prior to my event. Even though I had confirmed directions via email well in advance, the DJs were late and claimed they were lost. I had informed them that the crowd was mostly middle aged and recommended they play mostly classic rock and oldies, instead they opened with Lady Gaga and Beyonce. Also, they did a very poor job MCing. They did not even announce our first dance and, part way through the dance they invited our wedding party to join us, despite an email I had sent detailing that only our brothers were standing up for us. DO NOT USE THIS DJ FOR A WEDDING!

We tried to reach you without success for a feed back. We apologized for being a little late but the directions you gave to us were not that efficient. The construction and road closed on hwy 61 plus the venue being hidden made the DJ's drive around and passed the venue 3 times. The DJ's programmed and played all your play list but were surprised your guests were not interested in that music. only after the Dj's decided to take requests and play other popular classic music that the floor came to life continuously to the end. The opening song was discussed and you did not know which one you wanted to start with so the DJ played the most requested artist off your play

The DJ was affordable, friendly, accommodating, and had a plethora of songs. For the price we paid we are satisfied and we recommend him. Plan to spend spend extra time communicating about your playlist on what to play and when; and provide as much detail as possible. I had to tell him to turn on the stage lights while we were doing our first dance- a detail he should have figured out in advance. He was also video-taping the dancing of our wedding without our consent, which I found unprofessional and distracting.
