Great DJ! Mark took requests and was very flexible. He even stayed an hour after when we wanted to extend the fun! Just wish he had played the edited version of some of the popular songs - we had 65 kids at the party and I was a little freaked out by hearing curse words in some of the songs. I would give him a different instruction next time, but would still request him!

I booked Sounds of Success for a corporate holiday party. The original DJ was delayed so they sent someone who was not familiar with the equipment. This guy was unable to play the special request ques for an activity that were pre-planned (i.e. drumroll, etc.). Initially, I was impressed with their electronic play list and responsiveness so I felt really good about my choice. However, to send a substitute who was unable to turn on the equipment without assistance is unacceptable. The original DJ actually arrived several hours later and the music was fine after that, but that issue was handled poorly because I should have been informed (prior to his arrival).

We are very Sorry Alicia K that you were not completely happy with our service. We try to accommodate all of our clients needs and concerns. Sounds of Success was booked for your event from 9pm until 11pm. We agree to set up 3.5 hours early to accommodate your event without charging for this additional time. The special request ques was sent at 9:30am on day of event and was not supposed to be apart of the service you requested. Due to unforeseen circumstances another DJ with over 10 years of exp. provide service from 7:45, 1 hour and 15 minutes prior and we still performed 2 hours past our contracted agreement without compensation.

the only thing that we had an issue with is even after saying several times we wanted family friendly songs there were too many non-edited songs. But the guests didn't seem to mind. He was very nice and I would definitely recommend for any events for teenagers and above.
