I've hired several different talents for events in the past 6 years. Mariachi, Acapella singers, quartets, salsa group, impersonators, singers, etc. But, I have never seen an entire wedding reception brought to tears by an acoustic guitarist singer.
He was amazing. Very talented & very nice in eyes (Handsome). And very professional! I'd book him again, again.

Matt was great to work with. He helped to make our ceremony for our wedding personal. His music was wonderful and worked well for our cocktail hour. He was super accommodating and helped to make our wedding truly special. So happy to have had him play for our wedding! Couldn't be happier.

Matt was A-MAZING!!!!!!!!! We can't say enough good things about how talented he is! He played for our holiday party, and is 100% credited for creating an awesome ambiance with his music. He played a variety of songs and covers, all of which were loved by all. He is exceptionally talented, people were actually SAD when his time ended and he stopped playing - we could have listed to him for hours and hours! He has a clear, perfectly pitched, soothing voice, and his guitar skills are incredible. I would hire him again to play in a heart beat, he is definitely our new go-to artist for all of our parties from here on out!

Matt performed during our ceremony, cocktail hour and first dance during our recent wedding. He was so easy to work with, flexible & did such an incredible job. We received so many compliments from guests on how great he was. He learned our favorite song for our first dance - which was wonderful - and even worked with our DJ to transition into other dances. What a fabulous musician! Matt is unbelievably talented and absolutely made our event. I believe we ended up being the longest event he had ever done. We just kept adding on more and more time because no one could bare the thought of not having the opportunity to listen any longer. He is also so courteous and engaging. We all enjoyed the way he would mingle with us during his breaks. I hope to have him join us for many more occassions. Thank you so very much Matt. We miss you already.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt. We had a mixed group of ages for our client event yesterday, so keeping them all entertained with music can be a challenge. Not for Matt Hartke. Matt is a fabulous, talented guitarist, and singer! All of our guest as well as my husband and I loved his performance!! We booked Matt to perform at me son’s rehearsal dinner and felt we made a good decision based upon the media clips on Gig Masters. Matt communicated immediately back and confirmed our date. He was on-time, set-up and performed for 3-hours. He was super friendly, good looking, played and sounded fantastic!! I have hired artist in the past and often they are simply a backdrop to an event but not Matt. Based upon the mood of the evening, cocktails, dinner and dancing, Matt was spot-on with his music choices. He became an instrumental part of a beautiful evening and for that we thank him.

If we could give a higher rating than 5, we would. Matt Hartke was not only extremely professional, accommodating and entertaining, his talent level as a musician is unbelievable. Everyone at the reahersal dinner could not get over how great Matt's performance was. Matt Hartke was a huge highlight of the night.
