Matt is definitely a 5-star. He arrived and set up without assistance from any of us and was set to go when needed. The dance floor was packed all night long and he willingly stayed later than planned. This is the second time we used him and he performed exceptionally both times. Would not hesitate at all in hiring Matt again and have recommended hims serval times to other people.

DJ Matt is professional, kind and easy to work with. You can tell that he has a lot of experience. Several of my guests commented on how entertaining and accommodating he was. One of them even asked if we knew each other even though we'd never met before! I'm so glad that he was the DJ for my party. I definitely recommend First Choice DJ Service if you like to boogie!

Wanted to give a huge shout out to Matt kotefka Our DJ for our wedding reception last night. He was amazing. In tune with the crowd . Listened to our requests and followed our song lists Guests gave lots of compliments. Even my 26 year old daughter said “ Matt was the best DJ she has ever heard “ People were dancing to the very end of the night !!

Matt was great to work with - he was extremely professional, cordial and flexible. He sought input on what we were looking for throughout our event and he provided exactly what we wanted! I cannot believe how amazing of a night I had! Not just because it was my wedding night, but because Matt knew what he was doing all night with music, and everything else! I cannot stress how fantastic he was. He was very involved and kept the crowd going! There wasn't a time where there was no one on the dancefloor, and that's hard to do! I wish there was more stars on here to rate because I would give all of them. Very professional, involved, and accommodating. It was very nice to get to know a complete stranger months before the event. Funny and full of fun! Thank you for helping us make our big day even better!

Matt was AMAZING! He kept the dance floor hopping all night - and accommodated every age group from 8 to 80! So much fun! And he was very flexible and willing to keep up with a few special requests we had last minute. We have heard from many of our guests that he was the best DJ they've ever seen... and we agree! I would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a fun night of music and dancing!

Matt was great! He checked out the location before the event on his own time, kept emailing with updates on what he was bringing and offering extra services and was extremely friendly. From start to finish, the level of professionalism and talent that Matt Kotefka from First Choice DJ Service was beyond exceptional. To say we were satisfied with Matt's DJ service is an understatement.
We hired Matt to DJ our 20th anniversary party. However, unlike most parties, I had very specific music requests. Matt was flexible and accommodating with my requests, but his suggestions and expertise was a perfect blend for the night.
Matt's easy-going nature and sense of humor were some reasons I hired him. And I made the right choice. Because of Matt, our party was a hit and people are still talking about the music!

LOOK OUT LOOKERS!!!! This is your man!!! Stop looking and grab this guy! I have used DJ's Bands in 3 different states and Matt is the real deal. He really knows how to get people into the party, bring out the laughter and smiles in your guests, meet and beat your every expectation. He pays attention to detail and when you throw unexpected events, ideas at him, he flexes, conquers and impresses. Matt is honest, down to earth, trustable and will use him for all my events as long as he is in business. He drove in a snow storm, made it on time and did it will a smile and unbeatable professionalism.

We were lucky enough to get this booking just a couple of weeks ahead of the event, and we were really happy with the results. Matt was very helpful; we didn't have to worry about a thing. We just picked out a few songs we liked and a few we didn't, and he worked out what kind of style we were going for without us having to be too hands-on. He was familiar with the venue. Our guests had a great time.

Matt DJ'ed our wedding reception. He was so awesome, he kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Matt Kotefke is a true professional at his business. All the guests at the wedding enjoyed the company he provided. He was able to play a wide variety of songs, that was pleasing to all guests. Many of the guests said it was the best wedding they have attended. I know for a fact that it was because of the atmosphere that Matt helped create. We used Matt as the DJ for our wedding & were so happy we chose him! He was great at communication prior to our wedding & worked with us to create the playlist we wanted. Our guests loved him & told us they felt he was the perfect DJ in that he knew how to read the crowd & played the songs we wanted at the perfect times! Matthew was so easy to work with and communicate with. He takes the stress of planning a social event and puts you right at ease. Matt has the most delightful personality and his sense of humor was much appreciated. He was able to keep our dance floor packed the whole night no matter what type of music guests requested from him to play. Matt arrived early, set up and take down went smooth and he left our guests wanting more and the night to never end. I was worried about getting the right DJ. In fact, I booked and cancelled another guy, before finding Matt via personal recommendation. You know those receptions that are just so-so? My nightmare. But Matt? Nailed it. Totally.
Grandma and friends could still visit, not overwhelmed with the volume. When my dad made a request it was immediately handled. And Matt tactfully kept our "do not plays" away.
Meanwhile, the dance floor was FULL. ALL NIGHT. Even longer than we booked, in fact. Exactly what we hoped!! Matt handled it flawlessly. DO take the time to carefully fill out his form. But leave him some freedom to gage the crowd - he's a real pro!
