I have to tell everyone that might hire Maria...she was without a doubt the BEST! Each child that she painted looked like they were ready for a Broadway show! And she was so kind, so patient, so EVERYTHING!!! I had inflatable waterslides, a magician, and a $100 per head caterer for my party, and the only thing people are talking about is "that face painter!" I recommend her without qualification or reservation! (And I actually had a party with Maria, this is NOT one of those entries that is just meant to build her up!) AWESOME!! Maria was fantastic! Her professionalism and patience with the children put me at ease. She arrived 15 minutes early for set up and was ready to go! Did I mention how talented she is???? Each kid left with a huge smile and I was in awe of her artistic talent. To say the face paintings were beautiful would be an understatement. Even as an adult I was amazed. Thank you Maria for the wonderful experience and helping my daughter's first birthday be forever memorable.

Maria is outstanding. Her talents in facepainting is as good as it gets. Seriously, it wasn't just good, the girls looked truly spectacular. All the girls look like professional princesses. Every parent was amazed when they came to pick up their girl. And her Snow white assistant was a huge hit with at the princess party. Everything was spectacular in every way. Maria was excellent! We hired her for Macy's Thanksgiving private event. She and the balloon artist were accommodating and worked well with our small space and navigating the traffic logistics downtown New York on Thanksgiving. The kids loved her and she did everything from princess designs and glitter to vampire fangs!

We hired Maria for our daughters first birthday party this weekend. One word "AMAZING". I have been to many parties but she by far has been the best face painter I have seen. Maria is a TRUE artist! The faces she painted were absolutely beautiful and spectacular. She was fast and very good with little kids (4-6 yr old). Very responsible in terms of following up after you book her.
Her son, Nick, was the balloon maker. His balloon pieces were complicated and interesting. He was awesome with the kids because he was so accommodating with his equipment and balloons. All the moms at my party loved him because he did not yell at the kids for touching his things =). He was so sweet and gentle with them. Very very polite too.

We were so happy to have Maria at my 6 year old daughter's backyard birthday party! Maria is very talented and can create beautiful and very dramatic transformations very quickly for the children! Maria is an artist and is very professional -- she worked very hard to get through all of the requests at our party. The children were thrilled with their faces. The face painting was fun for the person being painted and was also very entertaining for other children that were watching Maria at work! Maria & her son arrived promptly & were set up very quickly. As soon as our first guest had their face painted, there was a line that formed. Each guest had a request to outdo the last "customer" & Maria endeavored to accommodate each request, including drawing up new designs outside her book of choices. We had guests from 1 to 70 who were adorned with the vibrant paints, glitters, & jewels, & everyone was so delighted with the work, that we had to extend the time just to get everyone in line completed. We are very happy with the face painting & balloon twisting services, & many of our guests have asked for details of having Maria & her son at their next event!

Maria was great! I was unprepared when she arrived. I completely forgot to ask the staff at the resteraunt to set up a table for her but she took care of everything. Maria was great! I had a 50th birthday party so all my guests were adults. Everyone had a great time with picking and receiving their tattoos whether they were glitter, stenciled or free hand. Maria is a warm, friendly individual who will add to your party's ambiance. I had such great feedback from my guests. They really enjoyed their tatoos. We hired Maria for our daughter's 8th safari themed birthday party. Maria was very responsive to my questions and followup prior to the party. She arrived early to set up and brought safari type faces to go with our theme. Her work is spectacular and the kids had such a great time getting their faces and arms painted. In fact, we couldn't peel some of the kids away from her table because they loved watching her. Maria was very patient with all of them and accommodated kids from age 1 to 12. She even lightly sang while she painted (she's a music teacher). I highly recommend Maria and hope you get the opportunity to have her at your party!
