'Out of Time' is the only East Coast band that was friends with and understudied the number one folk group in history... The Kingston Trio. Band leader jammed with the Trio, attended Trio music camps in Phoenix with Trio... Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds. The Trio had Out of Time produce the 40 year Trio history program booklets sold at the shows the last 15 years. Bob Shane said we were the last amature band to preserve the essence of the sound. We are 'The Bashes' only Richmond based folk group of this popular genre. Please take a look and listen to some of our music on our WebSite... My mom turned 85 and we had an intimate back porch get together in Richmond, Virginia- just 8 guests, all family. She's a musician and I knew having music would bring the celebration to another level. Don and his band were stellar- great guys, so we felt like we had 3 more friends over, not a band of strangers- which was really important for this. The music was amazing, all sing along classics and Dick on the banjo was so awesome and the three of them really made mom feel at home. She said it was the best party of her life!! (That was the goal:) Thank you!
