I offer personalized, solo performances for special events, such as festivals, wine tasting, parties, restaurants, weddings, and corporate events.
My guitar work is perfect for wedding ceremonies, and for creating the groove for receptions and parties. When called upon I love to sing acoustic and jazzy pop music. My repertoire includes popular tunes from James Taylor to Stevie Wonder, and classical favorites from Bach, Faure, Handel, Pachelbel, and a large library of standards from the American songbook. 

In Colorado I played all along the Front Range, from Sheridan, WY to Colorado Springs, and the Mountain Resorts in the Rockies, from Telluride to Steamboat Springs as a soloist and with my band, Swing Essence. Since moving back to Oregon in 2013, I have played many events in Portland and surrounding areas, including the coast, and Tacoma down to Eugene. I am very proud of the many testimonials received from of wedding, private and corporate clients. Guitar has been a life long endeavor, starting when I was just 10. I have background in acoustic and electric rock, folk music, classical and jazz. I have formal training in concert band and orchestra, theory and composition and experience as a soloist, arranger and band leader.

BEYOND SOLO GUITAR
My Acoustic Trio consists of me on guitar and vocals with upright bass and either violin or a woodwind instrument.

Kevin is extremely talented and gifted, but he is also a great communicator and excellent collaborator. He set the mood for our wedding, and had guests dancing even though it was just a dinner! He also was so generous in helping us out with picking songs or learning any new ones for our specific requests. To top it off, he suggested a duet between he and the bride with the groom surprisingly joining in that left the room in joy and happy tears.

Wow, Kevin was so perfect for our event! A total class act professional. What an amazingly talented player, any event would be lucky to have him play!!

We hired Kevin to perform at our brother's 60th birthday celebration.  Our brother lives in an assisted living facility with other disabled adults.  Kevin made our brothers birthday a fun celebration they all enjoyed.  We could not have been more pleased.  Our brother's care givers said it was the most they have seen him interact ever.  Thank you Kevin for this wonderful memory for everyone.
