I would NOT HESITATE a moment to engage Rich Barry for another event I was hosting, nor would I hesitate a moment to recommend him to my closest friend for their engagement.
He was perfect.
Showed up early to set up, dressed professionally to fit the event, played a variety of material well, ended on time, and fulfilled my every expectation.
Easy to work with too---responsive and personable.

Rich is an amazing guitarist and an intuitive performer.He was a perfect match for our needs. He developed a program that was exactly what we wanted ,and then,with grace and amazing skill,delivered.His playing was magical and impressed our audience, both teenagers and adults, with his virtuosity and his oneness with his instrument. He was respectful and yet playful with his audience and won over the lot with his sincerity and passion for what he does. We have had many performers here through the years - he is a cut above, and he connected with us through his presence and his music, leaving us loving what he did- the test of a real artist.

This is the second time I used Rich Barry for a corporate event - and he exceeded our expectations once again. He arrives early - he sets up quietly - he plays beautifully - and is truly a pleasure to work with at an event. Mr. Barry was a gentleman and a true professional in all regards. He was very accommodating and helpful during the planning of the event. Rich was very flexible, punctual, courteous, respectful, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I asked Mr. Barry to perform for my wedding proposal to my girlfriend and he truly made it a magical, storybook night to remember! Rich is a VERY talented guitarist and true musician. I will definitely recommend him at EVERYONE I know!

Rich was great. He arrived on time; he was organized and ready to play; he looked nice (appropriate to the event); he was very professional. He is also a very nice person--very accommodating to our needs, too. His playing is wonderful; he has a very rich repetoire, with an accent on South American pieces, which is what we wanted. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone.

Hire Richard!!! Richard played for our entire ceremony and the cocktail hour at our wedding. He discussed with us months in advance the music we wanted and he was able to play both contemporary American music and south asian music on his guitar. We had both during the ceremony. In addition, many guests commented on his beautiful playing and his willingness to take requests. He really gave our wedding the atmosphere we hoped for. Thanks so much Richard.

I hired Rich for our wedding ceremony. I was very impressed with how organized he was. He sent over a list of items he was bringing to the event and some documents explaining exactly what he needed from me (directions, song requests, etc). He responded to my questions very quickly. He sent me a confirmation the night before the event. I was getting dressed for the wedding when he got there, but he was very self sufficient and got himself setup and started playing. Many people came up after the ceremony to tell me how impressed they were with the music. Thanks so much, Rich!
