Scott gave an amazing performance! Everything was perfect! The job was everything I had hoped for and more. I contacted Scott to help me out with proposing to my girlfriend. I asked a lot of Scott to pull off this proposal and he played his part, (and his guitar) perfectly! On the last day of our vacation, my girlfriend and I went for a sunset walk on the beach, on the Gulf of Mexico. As we were walking, we happened upon an individual singing and playing an acoustic guitar. The individual sounded great, and we stopped and listened for a moment. After finishing a song, I asked the musician if he minded if we stood and listened for a minute. The musician turned and replied, "of course not, lay down your towels and sit for awhile." We stayed and listened to him play a beautiful, romantic song. I found a passerby to snap a photo of my girlfriend and I in front of the sunset, and while posing for the photo, I got down on my knee and asked my now fiance to marry me. She said yes, and I turned to the man playing the guitar and asked if he could "play us something special." The musician was of course Scott, and he then played "our song". It was after he started singing our special song that my fiance realized that this was no stranger, and in fact the musician was there to play a sunset serenade on the beach for the two of us. Scott was able to learn our requested song, meet us on the beach 1200 miles from New York, and play along with my plan until the right moment. All of this, without ever meeting me face to face. It was the perfect combination of planning and professionalism. Scott sounded amazing. The entire performance was perfect, and better than I could have hoped for. I look forward to calling Scott again to play at our upcoming wedding.

Scott Samuels is a TEN! Every aspect of my relationship with him from the get go was absolutely absolute. He's a gentleman as well as a very talented musician. Our wine tasting was fantastic due in part to his presence. I will definitely revert back to gigmasters when the need arises. Thank you.

We contacted 3 potential performers and Scott was the first to call us back. He was not only prompt, but thorough in addressing all of the potential needs we might have for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I never had a concern that Scott was unreliable and/or unprofessional – which was not necessarily the case with the others. Scott always called back within minutes and he anticipated our needs. Our wedding attendees commented that he had a lovely voice and that he did a nice job – we only wish we weren’t so busy taking wedding photos because we would have loved to hear more of the music! We appreciated your help in making our wedding such a memorable success!

Scott was not only very accommodating, but he also provided great advice to help me make choices. We were having a "non traditional" type of wedding and Scott took the time to understand the mood we were trying to achieve and to ensure that his role was appropriate for our wedding. He was a pleasure to interact with -- from his personable nature as well as his extensive knowledge of weddings. His music and voice were lovely! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Scott for any type of event.

I thought it would be hard to find great talent for a two hour exhibit hall event in Jersey City. Scott exceeded my expectations on his service and performance. I appreciated Scott's attention to detail; he really wanted to make sure the set-up and sound would be appropriate for this training industry event. He is extremely talented. I knew he was a hit when attendees asked for special requests from his playlist. The audience was having so much fun, he stayed extra time to complete an encore performance. Scott did such a great job at our party, we all enjoyed his skilled gutiar playing and he was willing to play songs at a drop of a hat. We even had a little of a blues jam sesson with him and my family and friends are still talking about how much fun thay had, I feel that scott had alot to do with the overall moon and vibe of the party. If you don't hire him for your next gathering you're really missing out. He has a wide range of music and I wish there were more words to discribe how great, nice, personal, talented and thoughtful he really is. Thanks for the music Steven & Christina

Scott really made my husband's birthday party a fun and unique event. I can't tell you how many people stopped me and said what a great musician he was. He interacted well with all the guests and encouraged requests--of which I believe he received quite a few by the end. In fact, he had so many at the end that he missed his cab because he didn't want to walk out in the middle of a song that everyone was obviously enjoying. From my perspective, Scott was very easy to work with and completely reliable. He was very responsive to all my questions and always confirmed the details of any conversations we had in the weeks prior to the party with a follow-up call or email. I would definitely book Scott again, and if what my guests were saying is true, he will be coming back down to DC in the future for a few more gigs.

Scott is definitely a great choice for accoustic music. He is not only an extremely talented guitarist, but a true professional. Scott has a wonderful personality and was very accomodating. He was able to exceed our expectations in providing a warm, relaxed and engaging atmosphere for our wedding reception.

Everyone at the wedding thought he was great and wanted to know where we found him. His range of music was impressive. I would hire him again in a snap! His classical pieces were beautiful and his pop/rock selections were fantastic. Most people commented on how he was able to be so good at performing so many different types of music. A true talent and very personable and a pleasure to deal with.

There is not enough words to tell how much we enjoyed Scott performance. He played for our cocktail hour and everyone I talked to was very impressed. He is a very accomplished musician, who can play covers or his own set of originals. Being a musician myself, I can appreciate the level at which he plays. I can definitely say that anyone that uses Scott will NOT be disappointed.

I don't usually hire musicians off the internet, I liked referrals or see the performer(s) before hiring. After reading the customer reviews and checked his schedules to see if he had any gig's scheduled every month I took my chances with Scott and hired him. I was glad I did that since Scott was very easy and pleasant to work with and very talented. The day before of my son's christening I e-mailed him the song lists for him to play and or accomodate to his agenda; he did just that with no hesitations whatsoever. He aims to please his customers and we got that result. My family and guests enjoyed listening to him and they also wanted to know where I found him. We had a 40th birthday party for my brother and I was in charge of getting the musical talent for the event. I listened to Scott's audio clips on this site and was impressed, so we hired him. From that moment on Scott was very accomadating, very professional and very impressive. My family all found Scott to be wonderful. He was concious of being just what we desired for the event, and really added a lot to the night. He has a beautiful voice and the guitar skills to match. I would recommend him to anyone that was looking. Great job Scott!!

Scott was the key to my successful 30th birthday dinner party. Without Scott, the party would have been just another ordinary dinner party, but because of Scott's music, it was the most exciting party I have been to in years! Scott easily entertained a diverse group of people aged 25-35. He is extremely professional and everything I read about him and his talents was 100% accurate. I highly recommend him without hestitation as he is simply terrfiic! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Scott was absolutely amazing. His ability to gauge the crowd, and select the perfect song every time was evident throughout his performance, and his diversity seemed unending. His talent was simply overwhelming, and my wife and I got much praise from the people at the event for selecting Scott. We ordered a special song that wasn't on Scott's list, "That's Amore," and Scott had it down perfectly by the party, note for note, it was wonderful. I would recommend Scott to anyone seeking a first class act, I simply have never experienced better. One last note, shortly after Scott set-up I had to make a request. I wanted to hear him do "Bohemian Rhapsody," because I saw it listed on his site. Scott played the entire song, including the interlude. Scott was great!!!! He did a wonderful job at my 50th Birthday Party. Everyone loved his music, and he played all the great songs from the 70's and 80's. I would definitely recommend Scott. He is professional and very talented.
