We had a party on the beach with close friends and acquaintances and Scott helped break the ice, which was one of the key reasons we were looking for a musician. We had ages 5-85 all at one party, and Scott was able to play music that everyone enjoyed and related to. We originally booked Scott from 5-7, but we got off to a late start and he graciously said that he would start at 5:30 and play to 7:30 with no extra charge -- and then he played until 8! I would recommend him for any type of gathering where there are from 2-60 guests. And I bet he could amp it up and even master a bigger crowd. Thank you, Scott!

Scott was a wonderful addition to our wedding. In the run-up to the wedding, he was very helpful and professional in guiding us to select the right music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He also accommodated our special request to back our best man for our first dance, even coming early on our wedding day to practice! He is a talented guitarist with a great voice, and really added to the chill vibe at our cocktail hour. That said, he by no means took over our event; instead, he seamlessly blended right in. We had lots of compliments on his performance from our friends and family. We can't recommend Scott more!

I should have left this review a week ago but we left for a week long vacation after the party. I can't rave enough about Scott's impact on our party. Typical Scranton "drop my check" and stay for 30 minutes graduation party was not what we were after. We truly wanted to entertain and enjoy the company of our neighbors and friends. Scott did an incredible job. He has an extraordinary ability to read the mood of the guests and deliver music that was so in sync with the mood of the party that we had guests there until after 11:30pm enjoying Scott's talents. Scott is so entertaining and talented that I can't believe that he has any open bookings on gig masters.!

Scott's voice, and guitar created a warm background for our forty-person outdoor adult birthday party. We had a wide range of ages and musical tastes - Scott's performance delighted them all. He was very accommodating to our needs: we asked him to arrive earlier, he did; we liked his music so much we asked him to stay longer, he did. He has a pleasing stage presence and improvised little riffs when appropriate. We all wholeheartedly appreciated his contribution to our birthday party for my ninety year old mother.

We hired Scott to provide entertainment for our son's graduation party. Scott was on time and extremely professional. His repertoire is extensive and offers tremendous variety. Early in the evening he provided wonderful background music for socializing. By the end of the night, he had us all singing arm-in-arm belting the lyrics to American Pie. The only reason Scott got all 5's on this review is because there is no number higher. Scott is a musical genius whose professionalism is unmatched. I would recommend Scott to ANYONE who is having ANY type of event from Philadelphia to NYC. Bottom line, I'm about to plan another event just to have Scott come out to play. Words can't express how grateful we are that Scott's musical talents afforded us the opportunity to creatively express ourselves at our wedding. Although we only contacted him the same day, he was able to fit us in his busy schedule.
Scott arrived on time and was willing to work with our ever changing arrangements
Scott is an extremely talented singer and musician with a great personality, engaging the audience without being over the top.
His music selection offers some for everyone, from classical to contemporary.
Our guests were able to select songs from his very large list and were so taken by the music that some even got-up and started to dance.

Scott is very professional and was easy to work with. We communicated via email and phone and Scott had good suggestions on how to make the event run smoothly. He came on time and was flexible about last minute changes. Scott is very talented on the guitar and all the guests enjoyed his music. During cocktail hour Scott played the guitar and sang songs from his large selection. Guests were able to make selections as well. Scott is a real talent and a hero in my book. Our original musician dissappeared 2 days before the wedding and I went online to find someone,..FAST! Scott replied within an hour and he knew the music I wanted and I asked ,saying do you realize this is tommorrow morning. He was calm, and called back later to confirm all details. Can we give Scott 6 stars? He exceed our expectations on every level. He took the time to talk with us several times before our wedding to make sure everything would be as we wanted. He learned a song not in his reportorie for us. He arrived well before the scheduled time to setup and chat with us. He was professional and kind. A beautiful musician. Scott Samuels MADE this party. So many times you think that if I only had music... This was a ninety birthday party, there was a range of ages from kids to elderly and everyone had a good time. I was so touched with how Scott handled the children; there were about 6 that were really drawn to his side and he played songs they liked and let them "perform".
I cannot give enough stars to for his professionalism and ability to know when and what to play during the party.
