Scott was perfect for our party. You don't have to look any further for a very talented, friendly and accomodating performer. He does a wide range of music in every genre that would be appropriate for a singer and acoustic guitar. He is very friendly and interacted well with our guests. He and his equipment don't take up much space, so he can do well in almost any size room. We and our guests will certainly keep him in mind for future events.

Scott was amazing. We have used him twice already and both events turned out great. We had so many people asking us how we found out about Scott because he was so good. I would definitely reccomend Scott to anyone looking to add a beautiful touch to a wedding ceremony or any gathering.

We hired Scott to perform at my sister's surprise engagement party (Fri. 5/11/12) and he was wonderful! I honestly cannot say enough great things about him. All of my guests (40+ people) were raving about him as well, and all requested his card at the end of the night. Scott was extremely professional, and only stepped away for a break momentarily to introduce himself to people in the crowd. He didn't even take time to eat, but played right on through. I provided him with a suggested playlist beforehand, but he was able to read the crowd well and played off their enthusiasm (mostly age 25-30, with some of our parents 55-65). I would definitely hire Scott again!

Out of the hundreds of guitarists in New York City, Scott Samuels shined far and above. He's personable, professional, and extremely talented, knowing a wide range of music t suitany event's taste.
Every attendee at our wedding commented as to how great a player he was, playing unique and beautiful arrangements of songs old and new.

Scott was delightful to work with on every level. He was friendly, quickly responded to every request with clear answers, tried hard to fullfil all of my wishes even though some were for songs he did not know, and best of all was an excellent performer. He came early to be ready to start at the assigned time and stayed beyond the agreed upon time because he sensed that was what was needed. It was a memorial service so no one was really calculating the time, Scott just sensed the need for music. He did not request to be paid for this extra hour but of course I was happy to do so and so glad he didn't interrupt the flow of the event to ask.

Having Scott perform at our wedding was one of the highlights of the evening. Besides a repertoire that seems endless, he plays so beautifully and his music choices were perfect. Scott played our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was wonderful. From the beginning, he was easy to work with, very accommodating, and always got back to us so quickly whenever we had a question. Scott Samuels arrived promptly, equipment set-up and ready to perform at the start of our party. He had a great feel for our audience and the type of music best suited to the occassion. We found Scott Samuels online and were not 100% sure what to expect. But I can honestly say that Scott made our event that much more special, and was truly the life of our party. He far exceeded our expectations, and tailored his music to a wide range of people. He would even listen to some of the kids songs for a few seconds, pick them up and play... Truly talented! Everyone who attended our party complimented me on Scott, and I'm sure our circle will call on him again. We think the guy is bionic because he played for 5 hours and maybe took 2 breaks!
I highly recommend Scott for any event.

What can I say about Scott? Phenomenal? Superb? These words do not do him justice. Scott was a part of my proposal to my fiance. It was a unique and detailed event in which I made several changes the days before. He was exceedingly accommodating, professional, and friendly. When I told Scott of my plan he took the time to write out thorough and helpful emails of ideas and what he thought would work best. In addition, Scott had to learn a tune he had never heard before. Not only did he learn it, he nailed it! He had a personal touch that made the moment so sweet. Thinking back to all the times I received some form of customer service, Scott tops it all!

Scott was AWESOME!!! He truly was the life of my wife's surprise 40th birthday. Everything went without a hitch. His ability to play is absolutely amazing. He was so accommodating to everyone's requests, even the older Gals at the party "Grandma's." The night was going so great that I requested Scott to stay a couple of hours past the scheduled gig, and he did so with no questions asked. Just one small problem. My wife and I are looking for excuses to throw any kind of party so we can have Scott attend. For those of you looking for a truly talented professional, STOP right here-- this is your man!!!!!!!
