Steve was wonderful. We had quite a few special requests for our ceremony and he made every single on of them happen, from our music selections to leading us in a hymn. He even recorded one of the songs for us ahead of time so that we could hear what it would sound like on the day of. I was so pleased by his kindness, talent, and the the beautiful music that helped to make our day so special.

We hired Stephen to play at our wedding ceremony this past Friday. He had no problem playing a few unusual song requests that are not a part of a normal wedding repertoire. He arrived very early and handled getting all set up on his own - even finding electric from the venue. Then when it appeared that it was going to rain, he moved his entire setup to the back up indoor location without complaint. I highly recommend Steve for whatever event you are planning; his rate is extremely reasonable and he will not disappoint!

Stephen was a joy to communicate and work with, a true professional. And, best of all, our guests loved him and the music he played! Our venue was a grape harvest party. We asked Stephen if he could play Italian music reminiscent of the movie 'A Walk in the Clouds' while our guests took a break from grape harvesting to enjoy lunch. He did that and so much more. Stephen is an excellent musician, very accomplished on the instruments he plays.

Mr. Kleiman was wonderful to work with. He was punctual, professional, and most definitely pleasant. He not only crafted the perfect sets for our event but performed them beautifully. Stephen Kleiman was outstanding. He is clearly very talented. He was polite from the first contact and promptly answered all of our questions. He showed up and was prepared in advance of our wedding ceremony. He seemed to understand that the ceremony was not about him as much as the bride and groom. He came in quietly, played the music we requested (very well, by the way), quickly introduced himself to me after the ceremony as we were taking pictures, and quietly packed his equipment before he left. I would definitely recommend him to friends and acquaintances for weddings and other events.

Stephen is an amazing musician, highly professional, incredibly flexible, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. My wife and I hired Stephen and a guitarist he brought in at our request to play Italian-style mandolin and guitar for our outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at a State Park in Delaware County. Everyone loved it! On a stressful day Stephen provided relief not only through his beautiful mandolin playing, but through his flexibility and professionalism. He knew exactly what to play and where to be and was able to play at multiple locations with minimal set-up (without electrical hook up). Would hire him for longer if I could do over!

Our wedding was 1.5-2 hours away from the Philadelphia area and Stephen did not hesitate to make the drive. He arrived plenty early to set up, played beautifully, and added the perfect touch to our event with his mandolin abilities. We specially asked for 2 songs to be learned and Stephen did a wonderful job with both of them (Find a River by Lowell George and Chemicals Collide by Cloud Cult). Communication before the event was great - he was always quick to reply and very easy to work with. My husband and I would recommend Stephen to anyone.

Stephen did an amazing job! He was so easy to work with and very accommodating. We asked if could bring a second musician with him at the last minute and he made it happen! They played during the cocktail hour of our wedding reception and everyone was raving about the banjo players! With all of the stress of wedding planning, Stephen made this aspect easy and enjoyable.
