He was able to play all the songs that we requested (some classical, contemporary, current, Marine Corp hymn, etc.). He was super easy to work with and very kind. We had a trio (him on guitar with a cellist and violinist for accompaniment). All of our wedding guests raved about the music!!!

Steve recently played our small intimate wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook in Dillon, CO. He did a fantastic job! He was available to discuss song selection beforehand and was willing to learn a special request song for the occasion. Steve is extremely experienced and had played at our wedding site before, so he was able to give me an idea of how to plan for the timing of the ceremony - which was so helpful. Finally, he plays beautifully! His sound was perfect for our special day. I would definitely book Steve in the future!

Steve was a wonderful addition to our party and it was pure joy to experience live music! He is incredibly professional and very talented. While he played for just a small group (25) of friends, folks were moved enough by his performance to break out into applause and cheers in the midst of their own conversations. I am Deb Corisis, manager of Ribbons and Strings Ensembles, a fellow gigmasters performer. I hired Steve to perform with our regular string quartet because the bride wanted a guitarist in addition to the quartet. I am VERY GLAD that I chose Steve. His musicianship is excellent. There are run of the mill guitar players and there are true musicians. Steve is an excellent musician who plays the guitar and plays it well. He plays a huge variety of styles and is very professional. He was prepared and able to handle changes in keys/songs etc. well. Everyone one at Ribbons and Strings is hoping to perform with Steve again. THANKS STEVE.

Steve Shurack's versatile and exceptionally professional music added such a marvelous touch to our evening! Our guests were so pleased with his excellent music that set a very elegant mood.
He played both electric and acoustic guitars in all styles including jazz, latin, rock, folk and flamenco.
The birthday party was so much more complete with Steve's live music accompaniment. We adore Steve and would love to have him play at future events!

Steve played our wedding and our families could not stop raving about him!! Everyone was so impressed. We asked him to learn a couple new songs which he played very well. Steve was absolutely perfect for our affair. His musicianship was just wonderful. He played exactly the right kind of music to make our celebration truly a joyous event for everyone present. I can't recommend him highly enough.You absolutely won't be disappointed if you hire him. If I ever have the opportunity to hire a musician for a party again I will make sure Steve is available before I set the date for my event.
If you don't believe me go hear him play on Sunday morning brunch at Suerte on South Pearl street. Even if you do believe me go hear him play I plan on doing so.

Steve played for our wedding and we received so many compliments! He is exceptionally talented but was also very accommodating to our requests. I wanted two very specific songs played for our ceremony, one on the ukulele and one on the guitar and Steve had no problem learning and bringing both instruments to the venue. On top of everything, you'll never see him not smiling. He has the most pleasant demeanor and made our wedding that much more enjoyable. Thank you, Steve!

All the reviews here pretty much sum it up: Gifted and skillful guitarist, superb musicianship, huge repertoire, absolute professionalism, and ultimately--Steve is a great guy. If he's available for your date and sends a quote-- book him. It's that simple. My wife and I booked Steve for a big get-together before our wedding in July, and all of our guests were amazed. That in itself is a big compliment, because about a third of our guests are musicians, and the rest are great music fans. Having Steve perform made the evening, and the rest of the weekend of our wedding much more memorable and awesome. Seriously-- Steve really is a virtuoso. Hire him. Thanks Steve!

Steve played at our wedding in July 2018. He was PERFECT! He played during the ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner. As requested, he played a lot of bossa nova beautifully, as well as classic rock songs. I gave him a list of songs and the style I envisioned (if slower or more upbeat). He didn't miss a beat! He was also very accommodating in providing us equipment for our outdoor ceremony. He was very professional from the moment I contacted him at Gigmasters all the way through the entire delivery of his services. His aura and demeanor is also so peaceful! I highly recommend Steve!

Steve was a fantastic addition to our Cinco de Mayo block party. Everyone loved the music he played and it was perfect for our event. Steve played for our early morning wedding in the mountains, and his music and personality fit the day perfectly. We were looking for a mix of light-hearted, happy and romantic pop standards to set the mood and that's just what Steve provided. Steve even learned a new song for us and his version sounded great! Steve is truly an amazing artist. We were so impressed with his talent and repertoire which helped make the wedding the perfect day. The bride and groom wanted specific classical guitar pieces for the ceremony and Steve played all of them beautifully. Before the ceremony and during the cocktail hour he played a variety of popular, jazz, and classical guitar works as well as taking requests from the guests. The day would not have been as enjoyable or complete without his masterful playing. I would highly recommend Steve for any occasion and would have him play again for all of my future events.
