The harp was beauiful at the wedding- Margaret is truly very talented! And if you want to get more thsn one performer for your wedding- be sure to ask her about the trumpeter!!!

It was a 90th Birthday party and the best use of my money. The harp was a great touch. Margaret is very talented and a great professional to work with. Punctual and thoughtful. I would strongly recommend her in a heartbeat. Can't wait for another function so I can hire her again.

No words can express how talented Margaret is. Her music and talent is so amazing beyond words can explain. I will definitely hire her again on another event it was worth every penny. She made my mother's dinner party an evening to remember!

My event was a little different, and Margaret was very accomodating and the event was perfect. I even shipped my violin to her in advance and everything worked out exactly as planned. Very professional.

Margaret was not the performer, it was one for the 4 Dallas Strings members, Nathan. I had to call Margaret one week before my wedding because I had not yet been contacted by the performer to discuss song selections. Once Nathan contacted me, I told him I did not want the traditional wedding march played when I was walking down the isle, that Cannon in D was preferred. Nathan agreed to accommodate. HOWEVER, when the time came, what song did he start playing as I stood at the beginning of the isle?? THE WEDDING MARCH!! It was too late to have him stop & start over, so I swallowed it and kept walking.

Here I am showing copies of the paper work that followed this rating .... Dear Melissa, I am totally speechless as to finding out that we missed the boat at your wedding. I could not reach Nathan today to find out what in the world happened but that really doesn't matter what matters we didn't do what you wanted for your ceremony and that is awful. Please be honest with me....was the rest of Nathan;s playing okay, did he play other songs you wanted and could you hear him and did you feel he was a good violinist if he had done the Cannon in D? Did he arrive on time etc. He has been with be over 15 years but i can't have unhappy brides I know we can't do it o

Violinist Nathan played this wedding by himself and Lottie even made the remark that it was like he was playing in Bass Hall so I don't quite understand 3.5 on Talent. The problem was that an email never was received by Nathan that had a change in songs from the orginal request and he was playing the wrong list and she came down the aisle to Ave Maria instead of Spring. Lesson learned that on arrival the performer should go over the music list for the final time with the the wedding cordinator as a final check. Lottie was very kind about the mishap and if there was just the option that we could do it right the next time Nathan and I would certainly sleep better.

Great! Margaret was able to play for our wedding on short notice. She had an expert skill and everything sounded wonderful. Though we did not know exactly what music we wanted, she was able to suggest what would sound best. I would recommend her as a Harpist for any event or wedding.

While Margaret is a very nice woman and very talented, I cannot in good conscious recommend her to another bride or bridal consultant. She was very absent-minded on the day of the wedding and even prior too the wedding. I had to repeatedly remind her of the song selections the bride chose and she even thought, at one point, very close to the beginning of the wedding, that she'd left a very important piece of music at home and had to call home to see if she could get it delivered to the venue in time. I was not happy with that at all. I had many other things to handle and having to "handle" her was not something that I needed to do. She didn't come prepared for an outdoor wedding, even though I had repeatedly told her it would be an outdoor wedding. While her talent is unquestionable, she needs to work on her organizational skills more.

Being professional in my response I will not list all the numerous details that are about my side of the story. I will have to ask, how does a harpist come prepared for an outdoor wedding that is having rain? Is bringing their own tent the correct answer as otherwise, I was a prepare as one gets in that situation!?! I had many compliments with people asking for my card so I know I did a great job for her. She was just having a stressful event with our rainy summer weather. The Bride & Groom said they were happy! Sorry, I didn't please the cordinator on the prewedding issues as before the wedding she was a jewel to work with & I had planned to recommend her.
