I APOLOGIZE HOWEVER, I DID NOT HEAR HER. THE ONLY TIME I HEARD HER WAS WALKING MY DAUGHTER DOWN THE AISLE. I THINK BECAUSE WE HAD 262 PEOPLE THERE AND DROWNED OUT THE HARP INCLUDING COCKTAIL HOUR. IN FACT SOME OF THE PEOPLE I SPOKE TO DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE WE HAD ONE. I THINK SHE SHOULD OF BROUGHT IN A SOUND SYSTEM.

Dear Kathryn, Thank you for taking the time to submit this review, and I am truly sorry that my services did not meet your expectations. The harp is known for its gentleness/ambience, and I would like to point out that I played all of the bride's requested songs for the ceremony. As the ceremony took place out of doors while it was raining, most of the guests were crowed around me and my amplifier in the only sheltered area, making it a difficult situation. I did use an amplifier during the cocktail hour, and I received a lot of compliments from the guests I encountered.

It was a pleasure working with Joan. She was very accommodating with my wife's last minute changes to the music selection and her playing was beautiful. The best compliment I can give is that we didn't speak with her on the wedding day. My wife and I were so busy with other things that we didn't get a chance to even say hello to her, but we didn't need to either because she was on time, set up, played perfectly, packed up and left without any assistance or direction from us. It was a delight to have a vendor that we didn't have to worry about and allowed us to just enjoy our wedding.

I would definitely recommend Joan. Joan was simply exceptional on our wedding day. She is very professional and very patient. Prior to the day, she recommended songs we did not know but which worked perfectly for us; she also played songs we had suggested. We wanted beautiful music during our wedding ceremony and Joan blew my guests away; mother of the bride cannot stop talking about how beautiful the music was. Thank you so much Joan. I cannot say enough good things about Joan! She was easy to work with, friendly, professional, and accommodating. Joan contacted me shortly after I booked the event on Gigmaster. She was very pleasant and accommodating. On the date of the memorial service, she allowed enough time for the setup of her large beautiful harp before the service. My attendees were impressed with her skills and the soothing sounds of the harp. I highly recommend Joan for any event and her fees are reasonable! Please note that I tried to contact three other Harpists snd their returned calls were not timely and their fees were out of my budget range. Joan did an absolutely fantastic job. I hired Joan for a corporate event at the Barnes Foundation, and her music really complemented the event and made it special. We asked her to accompany a singer last minute on the Ave Maria, and it was perfect despite not having had a chance to rehearse. She arrived an hour early and stayed an hour late. I would not hesitate to hire Joan again and would highly recommend her to anyone considering hiring a harpist for an event.
