My new husband and I are truly delighted with Marilyn's talent, punctuality, and professionalism. We hired her for our wedding, which took place on the beach in Corolla, NC and are so thankful we did. She arrived on time and prepared herself to play some pieces for our guests while they waited for the ceremony to begin. With some assistance from the men in the bridal party we transported the harp to our beach ceremony location and there she played beautiful pieces our guests are still talking about. Looking back, Marilyn was an excellent choice and we highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you Marilyn, you were a huge element in our most happy day!! ~Alex & Sarah

We loved Ms. Marilyn! Marilyn was sooo awesome!! Her playing was so beautiful! She was extremely nice and extremely flexible. The weather kept changing, which means the location of the ceremony was up in the air and her location to play was very up in the air until the last minute. She stayed positive the whole time and actually was one of the only things that happened in the wedding exactly as it was supposed to. Our only regret is that we didn't get a picture with her and have her play longer!

Our wedding day would not have been as special as it was if it wasn't for the beautiful music that Marilyn and Kimberly provided. She was so accommodating and helpful during the entire planning process. Her website provided all of the information that we could possibly need, including samples of all of her music and a ceremony planning page with suggestions as to what music would be appropriate during different parts of the ceremony. Both of them were so friendly and willing to discuss anything that was necessary leading up to our wedding. I would recommend Marilyn to anyone who is looking for 'that special touch' during a special event.

I am beyond please with the service Dr. Marilyn Wienand provided for my wedding.
She was very professional and pleasant in attitude and appearance. More
importantly she was on time (my wedding was on Memorial Holiday weekend at the oceanfront). She plays the harp beautifully; everyone at the wedding agreed how wonderful was the music. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Dr. Wienand. I couldn't have hired a better musician than her. She helped to make my ceremony sacred and memorable.

Marilyn was incredibly professional from beginning to end. She was prompt and knew what needed to be accomplished prior to the ceremony's start. She took cues well, particularly when it was not something we had gone over. The ceremony had to be moved into a cavernous, echoing area due to rain. She was able to play softly enough that everyone was able to hear my cousin saying a blessing for us. Although I didn't get to hear her before the ceremony or during our Wine Social, I heard nothing but compliments about her playing!

Marilyn was wonderful to work with... she arrived on time, looked great and the music was beautiful. I had asked that she play a particular piece first so I would have a chance to hear it myself but I was nowhere near when she began to play... she played it immediately after my wedding so that I would be able to hear it which was both thoughtful and touching. Marilyn was fabulous! She was very professional and played extremely well! We had our own soloist who was only able met with her right before the wedding - it sounded as if they had been playing together for years. I highly recommend her to anyone who is considering using a harpist in their wedding. She is amazing. I never had to worry about a thing!
