Melody was wonderful from the beginning. She was willing to play the songs we requested and make them fit beautifully into the ceremony, even though ours was a little untraditional. Having her play at our wedding was such a wonderful touch and we are so glad we hired her! She was professional, accommodating, friendly, and easy to keep in touch with. Over slept and didn’t make it to the wedding but let us know 45 minutes before and did offer to pay to rent our venue longer to make it on time but venue was already booked. She also offered to come perform at dinner. It didn’t work for us because we rent a public space for dinner.

I am so truly sorry. It doesn't matter that this is the first time this has happened in 40 years as a professional musician. It did happen, the review is fair and I have to live with it.
It's part of the problem of moving to an area where the venues are so far away, there is little room for error. Truly sorry I learned this lesson at your expense.
I so regret not being there to add to your joyous wedding. Once again, if you are ever in the Asheville area, I would be glad to provide music freely for anytime, anywhere.

Working with Melody was an absolute pleasure! She's a pro in every way -- responsive, friendly and willing to add to her repertoire. She was quick to answer questions, and very helpful when this sometimes-vacillating bride couldn't come to a decision about which piece to use when. Most special of all, though, she went above and beyond when she accompanied me on the song I sang during the ceremony, even meeting with me to rehearse ahead of time. I've always wanted a harpist at my wedding, and Melody's skill at her craft brought elegance and extra sparkle to a truly enchanting day! Singing with her was awesome!
