I was so lucky to find Ruth just a month and a half before the wedding (probably bc my wedding was on a Sunday) after my previous harpist cancelled on me last minute after I had booked her a year prior. Ruth was so incredibly easy to work with. I sent her a list of songs, she learned most of not all of them for me, despite the fact that she didn't already have experience with them. She was on time, professional, courteous and very low maintenance. (Unlike the other harpist who was very difficult to work with (Sylvia Kowaluski). From what I hear, the music was wonderful (even tho I was walking). I asked a handful of people including musicians who were present.

Ruth is amazing. She has a beautiful talent and personality to match. Hiring her to play before and during our wedding ceremony was one of the best decisions we made. Ruth was so wonderful to work with - She kept in touch with us leading up to the wedding and was patient with us as we selected the pieces for our ceremony. She was happy to learn new songs and she shared her progress with us as she worked on them - which we really appreciated!. The whole process was very collaborative and fun. Working with Ruth and then listening to her play on our wedding day was a wonderful experience - She was the perfect fit for what was our perfect day.

Ruth was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first moment we got in touch with her. She really set an airy and light mood for our daughter's rooftop tea-party themed 1st birthday. I could not have been happier and could not recommend her more highly. She showed up on time, ready to play her absolutely stunning harp and even learned two new songs that we requsted her to play - some challenging pieces meant for Spanish Guitar. She pulled it all off flawlessly. Do yourself a favor and book Ruth for your event!

Ruth is really great! We hired her to play for our wedding at the Allegria in Long Beach. She was extraordinarily cooperative and helpful; extremely patient with our many (and probably conflicting) requests; and offered many great suggestions about the music for different parts of the evening. She even arranged for a Skype session so we could "meet." At the wedding, Ruth played really beautifully, has wonderful style, was extremely friendly and pleasant, and really made a fantastic contribution to our wedding. We cannot not compliment her enough and we highly recommend this extraordinary artist to anyone looking for a truly special musician for their wedding.
