Johnny Reno's performance at my party was disappointing. His performance was lackluster, and he seemed like he just wanted to get the event over with and leave. He was scheduled to be at our party at 8 p.m., and when I called two weeks prior to confirm his appearance he told me he had scheduled another performance for 6 p.m. at an event 100 miles away, and asked if we could postpone his appearance at our party until 8:30, which we agreed to. I figured he knew his limitations, and that such an ambitious itinerary was not a problem for him. To his credit he did show up on time, but it seemed like perhaps he was exhausted from his 245-mile roundtrip drive (his words)and performance at the other event, which would explain his dull performance at my house. Johnny performed on a raised deck in my small back yard, and for a large portion of his performance his voice could not be heard even though all the guests were within 20 feet. My girlfriend and I (the birthday girls and hostesses of the party) had to get on stage and get involved in the act because it was obvious the crowd was getting bored and impatient with his gig and was throwing a wet blanket on the party, which had been in full swing when he arrived. I have hired lots of performers for singing telegrams before, and they were much more fun and had much more interaction with the crowd than did Johnny. I would hesitate to recommend him to your clients.

He didn't perform the songs I requested. He took it upon himself to make it a comedy show because he said the songs I chose were too slow for the crowd. He got a few laughs out of it and that was ok but my dad was still waiting to hear his songs and was disappointed which left me disappointed as well

Other than Johnny being 30 minutes late to prep before the surprise birthday party, his performance was a success for my group of 30. He was responsive in the pre-event call and emails, entertained all with equal attention and the Elvis scarves and photo he gave were nice mementos!

What a pro! Rolled with the punches for our mass wedding vow renewal of dozens of couples. Funny, entertaining and accomodating. We will certainly work him in to another one of our events.

Johnny Reno was talented, funny and very enjoyable! He made everyone feel great and exceeded our expectations! I could not recommend him highly enough!

It was a birthday gift for my Mom’s 80th birthday and she was so happy. She called after and she sounded like a young girl again. My family said she hasn’t smiled that much in some time. He was very good with communication before the event. I was very happy with the whole experience.

Great experience with Johnny Reno. Did an amazing job performing at our ceremony, was very accommodating when we had to push back our ceremony a half hour due to being stuck on the other side of Reno. Great performance at our ceremony as well.
