Convergence Reviews

This is our second year having Convergence for our annual Speakeasy Soiree. This quintet truly knows how to work the space, the acoustics, and the crowd. They have a way with making us feel as though we stepped back in time to the 1920's with fantastic tunes and flawless talent. The entire group was a pleasure to speak to, and we can't wait to have them out again next year!

Convergence is not only an excellent band for any event, but they are also personable and experienced. They were willing to accommodate to my style and timing for my wedding. Would 100% reccommend

Convergence was perfect for our Valentine's Day Dinner! The crowd enjoyed their performance. We only wish we would have planned for a dance floor as people wanted to dance, but that still didn't stop them from dancing.

We hired Convergence to play at our son's rehearsal dinner. We wanted some background music to add to specialness of the event. Our trio consisted of piano, bass, and sax. Convergence did an excellent job! Harry was a terrific communicator and even walked the venue in advance to make sure he was prepared. They are true professionals. We received many compliments. Thank you, the gentlemen of Convergence!

Convergence was great, my alumni members really enjoyed their performance.

We wanted a jazz band for our daughters wedding. After some searches, I stumbled upon Gigmasters....and checked out some available groups. I listened to some sound demos and was impressed with what I heard on The Convergence page. We booked Convergence to be the music at our daughters wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Harry communicated in a timely manner, worked to understand what type of atmosphere we desired, and offered some great suggestions to help as along. Here's what you get with Convergence: Professional, seasoned musicians that understand how to work with an Emcee, while providing a top notch musical experience for the guests! KUDOS !!!!

I hired Converge for my wedding in August 2019. My husband and I have been swing dancing since we were in high school. We were having a casual Sunday brunch wedding and wanted a live swing band for background music and some swing dancing. Converge was so accommodating that I did not even need to give them a song list. I discussed the vibe that I wanted, and Harry was so quick to make suggestions that I loved. They were kind and interacted well with my guests during breaks and as they were announcing cake cutting, speeches, etc. For what I paid, I was blown away by their talent and ability to read my mind as far as what I envisioned for my wedding. 11/10!

My Mom was excited to have a live band at her 70th Birthday party and she said the group was amazing! I searched around for live bands on short notice a few never got back with me or ignored my request! Convergence not only accepted my immediate need for a request, they also were flexible with helping us out with our time schedule changes for the event. My Mom can't stop talking about how wonderfully everything went, especially with the Convergence band! Thank you guys and will keep you in mind for any future gigs! Thank you much Convergence and Gig Masters, you saved me in a crunch!

The trio was perfect for our all age family reunion. Thank you Gigmasters for your platform that made this easy.

Convergence played as a three piece jazz group for a corporate reception of about 200 of our guests and were excellent. They were very patient with my continual interruptions for announcements and were overall very professional. I would recommend them to anyone in the Indianapolis area and would use them again if I host another reception in that city.

We have had Convergence entertain at our managers dinner meeting for several years now and once again they did an outstanding job.

EVERYONE commented on how great they were! I was able to improvise a little tune for our guests and harry and (crud! I'm not remembering the drummer's name) the drummer obliged and were amazing...tons of Fun PLUS they were very patient with my seeming lack of organization in terms of when things were happening...they were really flexible and played along and did it in very classy fashion...

Pro's......''period". I was in the business in the late 70's and early 80's....booking the Temps, Peaches and Herb, the Osmonds , Tony Bennet, pro fighting ................ Harry and Convergence were a great hit, casual music listner ,to the pro's at our wedding.......great sets all evening , vocals , solo's bam, bam, bam, when the ''Italian" according player surprise hit the crowd ......the game was over ....... got our guests in the mood to have great time.......''thank you Harry ". Harrys, pre wedding day work/ communication was '' metcioulos " from day we booked him ...... Keeping me informed , with well documented, precise outlines of the contract,dates , cost. times, phone numbers , cell numbers .......he took great weight off of my shoulders early on in my planning .....''I know well what happens whe ''band bookings go wrong" ........" and how often it happens". I worried and was busy with alot of the other moving pieces of our reception, I was the planner, and groom. We had strings trio in differnt room , comic, special services catering , and all the rest it .....There were only two people I was not worried about in the planning of this wedding .....Susan from the Woodstock Club, and Harry and Convergence. Convergence was very accommodating to our needs for our wedding day. They had another booking prior to our wedding, and yet they were able to make adjustments to their schedule to provide us with an additional musician. We would highly recommend Convergence to anyone who wanted a great evening!!!
