Early Bird Jazz Band

The Early Bird Jazz Band are a group of true specialists in classic and traditional jazz. The members of the band are busy playing jazz clubs, festivals, and concerts all around the world, but we love to make time to play special occasions for clients who appreciate great musicianship and a carefully crafted ambience. Led by clarinetist and saxophonist Ricky Alexander, the band has performed hundreds of weddings, private events, dances, and parties. Our band can perform with between three and nine members, so we are able to adapt to fit your budget. The musicians in the band are passionate about classic jazz, from the popular tunes of the 20s to the swinging and bopping of the 50s-60s. I am so lucky to be able to hire some of the best musicians in NYC. They have graduated from schools like Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard, and NYU. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and musical sensitivity, and we can't get enough time playing music with each other! Martina appears on my recently released debut album, "Strike Up The Band", which got some great reviews and radio play, and is available everywhere for your listening pleasure.
