Early Bird Jazz Band was absolutely incredible - they were flexible given our very small space and were able to play despite all the moving parts around them. They sounded absolutely sublime, their songs choices were fantastic and they played so well folks thought they were a recording at first! Cannot recommend them enough!

Early Bird Jazz Band goes beyond the expectations of what you would consider a normal experience from a band. Ricky is such a pleasure to work with. He is reliable, responsive and truly takes pleasure in his work and customer experience. They catered to what I wanted and had a large network of musicians. The musicians are well-established and unbelievably talented, some you may even recognize from youtube or guest appearances on late-night TV shows. For me, they traveled 300 miles to get my gig and even made a mini tour of it. They took our event to the next level. If you are looking for a professional - go with Early Bird Jazz.

The team is very professional and worry free that I would love to meet again next year.
We hired them for the commercial property happy hour in the morning for the holiday and everyone was happy to listen their music! Their selections were great that I didn't even have to pick songs. Very spontaneous selection yet great!

The Early Bird Jazz Band played our wedding on 9/30/18 and they were amazing! We loved their classic sound; it set the perfect romantic and vintage mood that we were looking for. Ricky the band leader was so professional and accommodating. The band played every song that we requested and even learned a few just for us! The guitar player started the night off on the right foot with background music during cocktail hour. And Martina, the singer, blew everyone away with her voice. We loved her when we first watched the band on YouTube and she was even better in person. Overall, such a talented group of people. We feel lucky to have had them perform at our wedding.

They made our wedding spectacular and we're the talk of the party. They sounded great on their clips and even better in person. They accommodated a few song requests that personalized our event, and even did a second line march for us from the ceremony to the reception. These guys were absolutely GREAT! I had an Alumni Party for 60 people and every one loved them. They even did a short video on YouTube to help promote the Party. Really wonderful.
We will definitely have them back next year. They were the hit of the party. I would highly recommend them.
Don't take a chance on anyone else. They were right on time, incredibly nice and had a fabulous selection of tunes, even the Washington & Lee Swing!

I hired the Early Bird Jazz Band for my wedding in Manhattan and it was the best decision I ever made. What an amazing band! I highly recommend the Early Bird Jazz Band to play for any event. Every member of the band is so talented and it was truly an honor having them perform at our wedding. Our venue was a historic venue, so we wanted our guests to feel as if they were transported back in time. The Early Bird Jazz Band did just that and created the perfect atmosphere for our guests and had them dancing the whole time.

We hired the Early Bird Jazz Band to play for our wedding in the Catskills — including the ceremony, background music throughout dinner, and dance music for the reception — and they were absolutely divine. Ricky and his band performed at my surprise proposal outdoors in Columbus Circle, NYC. He was very accommodating with the specifics I had in mind for the proposal - including where the band should be positioned, when they should begin performing, and especially how early they should be at the proposal site - before 8:30AM (truly Early Bird). The band is extremely talented and left me and my fiancee with a very memorable experience. I would definitely like to work with the Early Bird Jazz Band in the future!!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at a party for about 80 people on Saturday night. Early Bird Jazz Band performed during the cocktail hour. Could not be more pleased with this group. Wonderful! Ricky was very professional and accommodating. The guys are terrific musicians and gave us exactly what we wanted. We asked for trad jazz that would be fun to dance to for a mixed-age/mixed-ethnic crowd at a wedding reception, and they delivered. Ricky chose a quintet that was perfectly balanced -- not too loud for conversation during dinner but lively and fun. Their choice of music was great and got everybody dancing -- swing, foxtrot, and whatever. The music was so beautiful, it was also a pleasure just to listen to. They're also young and good-looking, which never hurts. Our guests all raved about them. I would definitely recommend Early Bird Jazz Band.
