I could not have been happier with the Fil Lorenz Orchestra! They are such skilled and talented musicians and played all the classics during my wedding cocktail hour. They looked so sharp and I absolutely loved them! They completely exceeded my expectations! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a jazz band for their event!

So talented and professional! Mr. Lorenz was an absolute joy to work with and brought liveliness and real class to our event! I would highly recommend this group to anyone and everyone that is thinking of hiring a band. If you are on the fence about adding music to your function (as I was), you should just go for it. Having the Fil Lorenz Orchestra at the event made it so much more fun and memorable and the group was so versatile and accomadating, everyone was happy! I would absolutely use his services in the future.

Fil and his band were fantastic. They were very professional to deal with, had a great song list, and were amazingly tight musically. They accomodated us very well when we asked them to play some mood music during dinner. We chose the right group for our wedding reception. Very satisfied with our choice.

My wedding went by in a blur but all my artists performed exceptionally well. Unfortunately they don't tell you that as a bride or groom you are the least likely to have time to enjoy them fully. I tried however and Fil and the band definitely made it a night to remember. I hired Erin Honeywell (nee Greenwell) for vocals and that girl has a set of pipes! It was their first collaboration together and as a client I enjoyed their partnership completely.

Fil Lorenz and his band were great. He was very professional and acommodating and the music was excellent. The only tiny caveat is the band wasn't able to play a few songs that were requested. But otherwise they did a great job and I highly recommend them.

I wanted to respond to Paige's (friend of bride) comment that "the band wasn't able to play a few songs that were requested." At a certain point in the evening, a gentleman came up to the bandstand to chat. It turned out that he had played in his high school jazz band as a young man and had fond memories of the experience. We talked about some of the material his jazz band performed and he asked if we could play a few of those tunes. I explained that since we were only a 5 piece group that evening, it would be unwise to "fake" songs that were originally written for a group 3 times the size. We settled on some alternate tunes that would be appropriate for the moment.
