The Turnaround Jazz Trio & Quartet Jazz Band from San Francisco, CA

The Turnaround plays jazz standards, ballads, bebop and bossa nova. We are a professional ensemble featuring piano, upright bass, jazz drums as well as tenor saxophone and/or vocals, and are available as a trio, quartet or quintet. The band is musically versatile and can also adeptly play other styles like hard bop, 1920's style, Latin jazz, blues, lo-fi, Brazillian jazz. In addition to reception and cocktail hour gigs, we play jazz wedding ceremonies, 1950's theme and 1920's Gatsby-theme events, and can mix and match styles and instrumentation on request. Our members have played with internationally renowned performers like Taj Majal, Alex Cuba, Bobby Hutcherson, Ana Gasteyer, Jeff Goldblum, The Ways and Means Committee, The Grassroots Ensemble, and more. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and the quality of our music—-we are always early, always well-dressed, and always in tune!
