My experience with Rick Henson (Strings & Steel) was nothing but positive. He was punctual and stayed in touch with me in the days leading up to their performace. I would not hesitate to book them again or recommend them to others. The music was great too !

Rick was attentive to detailed, prompt and professional. The group played under bad weather conditions without complaint. According to the feedback I have gotten from my guest, everyone really enjoyed the steel drums and all the music played. Thank you.

Our entire experience with Rick Henson and Strings and Steel was fantastic. Rick was extremely easy to coordinate with leading up to the event. They were very prompt in showing up, setting up and provided excellent entertainment throughout the evening. We would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Rick was amazing, I would email him and he would respond immediately. I would call him and he would respond so quick. He was so mellow and cool too. I would ask for a song and he would rehearse it and get back to me as soon as possible to let me know if he could play it. He was great, I would recommend him in a second. Thanks again Rick. Strings & Steel are great! My wife & I were looking for a fun group that would liven up our cookout without being the main focus of attention. They were perfect for that. The music was very cool as we sat around with friends and relatives catching up, playing games, and eating. The volume wasn't intrusive at all. People didn't have to talk loudly over it. And Strings & Steel are talented players, very professional. My wife & I wanted more of a Calypso/reggae vibe (as opposed to bossa nova), so with their wide song selection, they were able to come up with a setlist that was just what we had in mind. I definitely recommend Strings & Steel for your next get-together.

We had them over for our son's high school graduation party. It was great background music and both kids and adults enjoyed them. I feel that people stayed longer because we had live music, it just made the whole party a lot more enjoyable!

They did a phenomenal job from beginning to end. They were constantly in communication with us and were easy to work with. They were self-sufficient when they arrived to our party so I didn't need to worry about anything.
