I booked Chris for a trio of drums, standup bass, and piano, and he and his group provided a great atmosphere for the cocktail hour for my wedding. Looked very sharp and sounded even better. Clearly super talented professional musicians that could make an album whenever they please. My venue already had a grand piano which they were able to use no problem.

Chris came on board for my event about 24 hours before the event time, and he was so helpful and efficient in getting a group together, getting me a quote and contract, and getting everything wrapped up in a timely manner. He was great and professional to work with, and the group was incredible and so talented! I received nothing but rave reviews about the live music, and I'm so happy we were able to work with them for our event.

Chris and team were absolutely fantastic. They played for an extended amount of time (5 hours) and never once seemed to fade or repeat songs. They were able to transition from classical jazz to more upbeat tunes on the fly and never batted an eye for a pause in the music to make announcements, etc.. One half-star deduction for a couple of times when one of the band members would step out for a song or two (assuming to take a call, etc.) but that's quite minor as the other 2 played seamlessly. They were very talented and I'd highly recommend them for any function

Delightful & Talented group!. We are extremely pleased with their performance. Fun, festive jazz music for our event last night. Chris Barrick Group added the perfect background for our fundraising reception. They were puntual, set-up swiftly, and played perfectly. During the whole hiring process they were responsive to our questions and event dressed up for our semi-formal function. I would definately recommend them!

The guests at our party really enjoyed the Chris Barrick Trio. The jazz fans in the crowd in particular were raving about how well they played, but pretty much everyone loved their music. Our party was a corporate function, and the music set a perfect tone for a hip, yet professional event. The group was easy to work with, professional, and made sure the volume was just right for the space. I definitely recommend them. They were great.

If you are looking for a professional, very talented, Jazz Trio look no further. Chris Barrick Trio was one of the highlights of our wedding. They played the cocktail hour and were not overpowering in their volume levels. Just a great group! I would recommend them to anyone and I plan on using them again! Thanks Guys!

Chris was extremely professional, very pleasant and super easy to work with. He immediately accommodated all requests and was so easy to work with. His trio was "amazing"!! I loved listening to them! He made a hectic evening for us working the event seem like we were at a coffee shop relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Chris and his trio were very professional, talented and accommodating
in everyway.
When we entered the upstairs ballroom they were already entertaining our guests, in fact, even as we entered the building we could hear them playing and many people not associated with the wedding were lingering and enjoying the music.
We had many compliments on our special day, from the catering to the flowers and the ice sculpture, but by far
the most compliments were for the Chris Barrick Trio.
So many thanks to Chris for making our evening absolutely unforgettable. We look forward to having an opportunity to work with them again.

The trio was wonderful -- it was just what we wanted for our wedding reception. They arranged a beautiful version of the song we wanted to have for our first dance. They are amazing musicians, and we received great feedback from our wedding guests. We would definitely book them again in the future and recommend them to everyone!
