Gerry was very accomodating to my musical requests and very helpful in making additional suggestions once he knew what we were looking for. Even though my main musical choice was for an accompanying string arrangement, he went out of his way to find a solo version of our special request, which he played to perfection. Gerry played for a 1/2 hour prior to our wedding ceremony and for some time during the cocktail hour. All of our family members and guests thought he was extremely wonderful and talented. I have received many comments stating how pleasing his music was for the atmosphere. We highly recommend Gerry for any special occasion. I was very pleased with Gerry Johnston. We had a very small wedding (only 12 guests), and Gerry's music made our champagne reception in the garden after the ceremony so special. He was also very attentive to my request for jazz standards, and he took the initiative to contact me during the hectic planning weeks before the wedding. All in all, I couldn't be happier! I'd certainly recommend him to anyone!

Gerry was a pleasure to work with. He was very supportive of our music request, which was to perform primarily Spanish guitar and classical guitar music, with some romantic and '40's era show tunes as well. He provided lots of samples of his repertoire so that we could provide input on what we liked best. He was prompt and efficient in all dealings. He arrived on time, and was very professional throughout. I recommend him highly for background music for a happy event.

Gerry was very professional, he didn't even mind getting a little wet! (We got married in the middle of a hurricane!) We did have to move under the tent from our original location outdoors, but I thought Gerry sounded and played beautifully. It was a perfect accompaniment to our ceremony. Thanks Gerry!

Gerry was a professional. The event began at 7:00 pm; Gerry arrived approximately 30 minutes early. He went about his way setting up and when he began to play he was exceptional. Your scale did not go high enough. I would give him a 10! Gerry played for our wedding and the cocktail hour afterward. Besides being a great musician, he was easy to work with and warmly professional. We have no hesitation in our recommendation for your event!

Gerry was great and very accommodating for us! He learned two new songs for us by request and accompanied one of our friends who sang for us during cocktail hour. He was very easy to communicate with in terms of getting everything set up for the ceremony and we have gotten a number of compliments on his performance. I had many, many wedding guests comment on the guitarist and how perfect he was for the outdoor wedding that we had. The tone of the music was perfect for pre-wedding, cocktail hour, and dinner!
