OK...there aren't even enough words allowed in this review to say all that is necessary to cover my feelings on how great this group is. Their performance was great! My guests are still calling, texting and talking about them. One of my guests has a Masters in Music from Eastman and is quite a jazz aficionado and his hat was off to them. I had special requests to sing to my spouse. They worked with me on setting keys and were so accommodating. Their promptness, level of communication, and adjusting to our slightly cramped space with no complaints made them a joy to work with. We added a sax player to the trio and he was beyond amazing. They made our day!!!

Safari Jazz is the best possible group for any jazz performance. They just played at my wedding where there were about 130 people of all ages and musical tastes, and I can't tell you how many of the guests went out of there way to say how great the band was. One of the guests is a very accomplished jazz drummer himself and he told me that he was in love with every song they played.
I told them that Bill Evans was my favorite group and they managed to sound as good if not better than him. And they were total professionals in every possible way: their communication, timeliness, dress and manners.
I'm hoping for another event soon just so I can have them back!

The Safari Jazz band was absolutely amazing for our Corporate event! Not only did their music sound wonderful, but they were dress professionally and created an enjoyable atmosphere! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is doing a Corporate Event!

WOW was I glad I found and booked this band for our wedding and reception. EVERYONE! I mean everyone was blown away by the music. They played a terrific choice of tunes, and were very flexible in advance in making requests (I had them play for the wedding ceremony as well). Unlike some bands, they never got too loud, but their music was energetic enough to get everyone moving. If you are considering hiring Safari Jazz, don't think twice, they were, absolutely the frosting on the cupcake of our perfect day. Fred was so wonderful and communicative in advance, they were on time and professional all the way. I could write a book about how great they were!!

Safari Jazz was the perfect ensemble for my summer wedding. They were easy to work with and flexible, they arrived early to the event, and they performed beautifully. So many guests commented that the live jazz made the evening extra special. I felt their fee was very reasonable. I was 150% satisfied with Safari Jazz!

Safari Jazz was fantastic! They are an amazingly talented group of guys, and were a true pleasure to have at our party! All of our guests loved them (we had about 150 people at our party), and several of them have already asked me for the name and website of the band. Safari Jazz is a FIVE STAR band all the way around. No hassles, totally professional, easy to deal with, punctual, and most importantly... they sound fantastic!!!
They played for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah luncheon. Played in one location for the cocktail hour, then moved a short distance for the lunch. Everyone loved them. Fantastic sound. Great for background music or dancing. Low key personalities - no egos - just great music.
For us they played jazz standards, per our request. But I'm sure their talents go beyond that. Hire these guys without reservation - they're great!!
