The Band could not have been more accommodating. We hired them on short notice and 24 hours before our event, our room venue was changed. George, Lee and Corey took what could have been an uncomfortable, awkward situation and made it work perfectly. They played to and engaged the crowd and accommodated individual requests ( as well as assisting and covering for a novice emcee!) Would definitely rehire if we get back to the Houston area and would highly recommend for your event.

These guys are outstanding! They must be Houston's best kept secret when it comes to local jazz talent. By reading other reviews we expected them to be 1st rate musicianship/professionalism, but what surprised me is how much fun they brought to our event. They found a way to include everyone. The highlight of the night was when the group took a request to play ‘Theme from New York, New York’. They hammed it up in a way that would have made Sinatra proud. We enjoyed them so much we asked them to play for us at a different venue the following night in The Woodlands and were equally pleased. They’re on our short list of top-notch entertainment. The George Poe Band played during our holiday party. Everyone really enjoyed the music and the way they spruced up are raffle by adding some fun drum beats. We will def. use them again.

I think the questionnaire summed it up, they were professional, accomodating, and talented. I also thought that they were very nice men as well as being very talented musicians. I would highly recommend them to friends and would consider them for future AWA events. I feel that I hit the jack pot with Gigmasters and the George Poe Trio.

George Poe Trio played at our private venue and our members loved it. We have had bands that are too overpowering and after discussing this with George, he made absolutely certain that they did not. He lived up to it, too! We will definitely have them back. They contributed to making the evening a success.
