Islay was great to work with! With my focus on so many other aspects of the event he made my life easier by being on time, prepared, and able to self-manage himself in a professional manner. I would have no reservations about using him again in the future or referring him to others.

If our event is in Orlando next year, we would hire Islay again, without giving it a second thought. One of the guests at dinner is a wonderful guitarist; he performs at his church weekly and other types of small gigs. He was very impressed with Islay's guitar playing and sound and said he totally enjoyed the music.

Fantastic. Islay is extremely talented. The guitar and percussion duo worked out wonderfully at our Christmas party. We had a small space and Islay made it work. He managed to deliver some amazing music that was both subtle and dramatic while still being appropriate for the occasion.

Islay and his drummer, Mike, were incredibly professional and accommodating. We hired them to play during our ceremony and then at our reception. Their playing was beautiful and set the scene perfectly. And they were incredibly gracious when my in-laws took over the sound system and started playing Greek music. In fact, when we had trouble operating the sound system at the site, Islay and Mike let us use their system. In addition, Islay was wonderful in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. He sent us a play list for the evening, adjusted it according to our tastes, and learned the somewhat obscure tunes we requested for the ceremony.

We absolutely loved listening to Islay Rodriguez and the urban gypsies. His guitar playing is out of this world. They were amazing and all the guests enjoyed them. Would definitely use them again!!!!
