Genie Torres is a Professional Karaoke Specialist with over 20 years experience hosting karaoke (a lifetime of singing and dancing) at private parties, schools, bars, restaurants, you name she has probably done it, from a karaoke night at a small neighborhood bar, to large Corporate (including Fortune 500 companies) functions with over a thousand guests, and she also did parties on a yacht for 3 years, Boats are no problem!!!  She knows how to read your guests, knows the songs they want to sing even if they don't know (sometimes reading the lists can be quite daunting), no matter what the age range, she knows all styles of music and songs and can perform them too, this helps when no else is singing to have someone pleasant to listen to.  She uses that knowledge to your advantage to help you and your guests have fun whether they are singing or not, a good time will be had by all!   Happy to fill special song requests, can even download karaoke songs at events (when available).


Before Genie started her own karaoke company, she was the company trainer and a recruiter for one of the largest Karaoke companies in NJ, she was scouted herself by the president of the company while out singing at a karaoke night.  Within a year she was company trainer and the most requested Host in the company.


Available for regular weekly shows in the Central Jersey Area (all of Monmouth, Ocean, Southern Middlesex and Eastern Mercer Counties), will travel for parties.

Genie was absolutely lovely! She was very accommodating and was great to work with. She did a great job of relating to the different guests and helping them with song selection and even giving them courage to get up on stage to sing. She was great with kids too! I would definitely recommend her, and would use her again myself for any future events!

Genie helped me throw the best 14th birthday party ever!  It was my daughter's first boy/girl party with 30 13 and 14 year old Manhattanites who want to look cool.  Genie totally understood my goal to have a teenage party that was fun and age appropriate in spite of themselves.  As soon as the kids arrived, Genie took control and it was non-stop singing and dancing.  She knew when to break for my daughter's special performance, how to get the boys to mingle, how to get the shy kids to participate, etc.  It was such a relief to not have to worry just trust Genie. I highly recommend Kc Entertainment for your party. 

She was awesome! She did a karaoke party for my daughter's bat mitzvah. She connected beautifully with my daughter and her friends. She was responsible, accommodating and reasonably priced. My whole family agreed that we would highly recommend her without hesitation.

My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  All of my guests thought Genie did a fantastic job.  She was personable, accomodating, and professional.  She was able to get my guests involved, and most of my guests had never done karaoke before!  Some of my guests commented that she has a lovely voice, and others ask me how I found her; they thought she was an excellent choice.  I agree.

Our Holiday Party was quite a success with KC Entertainment. Genie was very professional and full of life! She motivates people to get and show their stuff. She had a great variety of songs to choose from for our karaoke and just the right music to dance to. Everyone keeps telling me what a great time they had. Genie is also very talented herself and was a great pleasure to have at our Holiday Event.

Everyone at the party had a great time.  Genie helped everyone get the courage to get up and sing, and by the end of the night, we practically had to pry the mic out of peoples' hands!
