I think Dawn is a wonderful person, and a joy to associate with. The feedback I received from our conference is that the material was not a "fit" for our group - and that most were not interested.
On a personal note, even though the material wasn't received well by the group; I thought Dawn was a pleasure to work with.

First Brien, thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed working with you, too. The event inquiry asked for a clean and energetic comedian. And this is what Brien hired, but the group wanted something else. When I entered the venue I discovered the audience was 98% male. As I visited with them preshow, it was apparent they had been drinking and wanted a more risque' act. Quite frankly, they would have been delighted if I was a stripper. I assure you, dear reader, as a public service - I am not. I agree with Brien this wasn't an ideal fit for a clean fun-loving comic even though many of them told me they enjoyed the show.
