I hired Pellejo Seco for my husband’s surprise birthday celebration and it was the best band choice I could have made. They were so amazing and engaging and had most of my guests dancing the whole time. I received many compliments about their music. Working with their manager Danilo was so easy and he was very easy to work with and accommodating. We would 100% hire them again for any big future parties!

Pellejo Seco made our wedding day even more amazing! Many of our guests truly enjoyed that live music element and danced the night away on our special day. I also want to point out that the band played a unique song with our last name (Romero), which we didn’t expect. So, that was very special for us. Even though we wished they could’ve played more of the popular salsa songs everyone knows or have heard on the radio, we truly enjoyed having Pellejo Seco at our wedding. Thank you for being there!

Friendly, charming, talented, what else would you expect from a Cuban Quintet! Even one of the neighbors walked by the back of the venue with a sign requesting "Mas, Mas,Mas!" and asking for their card. They adapted to the venue easily and filled the event with wonderful music. One of our guest who left Cuba in 1958, was brought to tears by the end of the second set. He told me this was the best day of his life. Every guest had some superlative to say about the group. The musicians and the female vocalist were just top notch. If you want an memorable event for Latinos, Mixed group, or anyone who loves music, hire these guys!

Probably the best Cuban band on the West Coast. I would highly recommend them for any gig and especially for people who appreciate the Afro Cuban rhythms. I plan to work with Pellejo Seco again in the future. Our crowd filled the dance floor for the entire night.

I hired Pellejo Seco for a company party, and the experience was a delight. I did all the planning with Danilo Vitorte, the band manager, who was very nice and well organized. Everything went smoothly from set-up to tear down, and the music was wonderful. The bandmembers were good musicians, and very nice to work with. Everyone at the party enjoyed the music very much. I would highly recommend this band for any event!

We recently hired Pellejo Seco to play at my wife's Cuban-themed 30th Birthday Party, and they were a hit! I had initially found them online at Gigmasters and contacted Danilo, their manager. He immediately made contact and was very professional and efficient through the whole process. I had the opportunity to see them play prior to the party at The Cigar Bar in SF, so I knew they would be a perfect fit. We would highly recommend them to play at your next party!

I am extremely pleased with Pellejo Seco. Their performance was professional from the time that the tech person arrived to set-up the sound system until the time when the group members packed up their instruments to leave. The music and the songs performed were perfect for the special college event, Cuban Week/La Semana Cubana. The members of the group were friendly, allowing students and community members to talk to them. They also signed CDs.Pellejo Seco donated $5.00 from the sale of each CD to Project Shoes and Socks for Cuba, a program that provides shoes, socks and basic school supplies to school children in Cuba. I will, without a doubt, hire them again.

We hired Pellejo Seco for our wedding after hearing them on gigmasters and checking out their live performance at the Cigar Bar. We were so impressed with their talent and energy. At our wedding, we had a guitarist and trumpet player lead a procession from our ceremony to our reception, which was awesome!!! Then they played at the reception and it was truly amazing. The sound was great and everyone was on the dance floor, whether they could salsa or not. Their talent created a memorable wedding and we could not have been happier. They are great to work with and I will see them again in the future!

We hosted an Old Havana New Years Celebration at our Lodge in Yosemite this year. I thought finding the right band for our party would be hard. It was so easy through Gig Masters and Pellejo Seco made it that much easier. They fit our theme to a "T" and really brought the talent we were hoping for and looking for to keep our dance floor hottt! Great instrumentalists, very flexible with timing and changes throughout the evening and great fun to hang out with. We are looking forward to Copacabana Nights with them for New Years 2009!

These guys are truly outstanding performers with endless style and talent. The music set a perfect mood for the whole party and made me feel as if I were back in Havana. The entire party of all ages quickly ended up on the dancefloor and stayed there until the very end. They were highly professional and organized throughout all the planning stages. I highly recommend this band to anyone who wants to have a truly memorable event.

Pellejo Seco are great musicians. I enjoyed listening to them. BUT, they lack professionalism. They were provided with a Timeline early on so they know when they can eat which is during a slide presentation AFTER the guests have eaten. But they had to ask in the middle of the event when they can eat because the guests were being served dinner. I didn't expect the question. So they ended up eating the same time with my guests which meant that we did NOT have live music while dinner's being served. At the end of the party, some of the band members took pieces of cake to take home with them without asking. Need to use common sense/judgment.

We were very pleased with our experience with Pellejo Seco! Danilo was very responsive with all communication up to the date of the event. When the band arrived, they immediately started setting up and required very little direction from me, so I could tell they were very seasoned. Our guests absolutely loved the authenticity of their sound and the band was very interactive with the crowd and many guests started dancing. We will definitely recommend Pellejo Seco for anyone looking for a true Cuban sound at their event.

If Latin music is your thing, then Pellejo Seco is your band. They were fantastic. Everyone at our party kept asking where I found these guys. On time, professional and down right awesome. Would highly recommend. In fact, I am trying to think of another reason to throw a party and have them play!

What drew me to Pellejo Seco initially was the sound of their music. It sounded like the perfect vibe for a sunny outdoor wedding as background music. It's hard to gauge how things will translate from the web to real life. I can tell you wholeheartedly that this band is the real deal. My only mistake was thinking that they would be background music as pretty much the entire wedding was drawn in and engaged by their beautiful sound. They played a mixture of covers as well as new songs I had never heard. All were amazing. The cherry on top was how easy they were to work with. Their organization and communication made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this band!

Pellejo Seco came up to Sacramento to play for my husband's 50th birthday. They were incredible! I had dreamed of throwing a party like this for my husband and they really completed my dream! Amazingly talented group who created an wonderful intimate ambiance for a party of about 30 kids and adults. I hope one day we can have them back to Sacramento. They arrived with plenty of time to set up. My husband, myself and our guests throroughly enjoyed having them! They were very professional and easy going. Thank you for making my husband's 50th so memorable!
