The CK Band did an outstanding job for our reception. They arrived on time and played as scheduled. The attendees enjoyed the variety of music the band was able to cover. I wanted to commend the band - our event was held at a facility where we did not know what the parking fees would be. We made arrangements to pay the fees in cash ahead of time. When the band arrived - they alerted us that they were able to park in a free area and did not need to accept the cash. Not many bands would have done this and I commend CK and the band on their integrity. Book them - they are as good as they are honest!

Rarely are my expectations exceeded, but last night I was blown away by the professionalism, the talent and the graciousness of every single member of the band. We all left feeling like we had made friends instead of hiring a great band when in fact we did both. I will hire them again and again. I had dozens of requests for how to get in touch with them as everyone was so impressed. We had guests stay until the very last song just to hear them play and keep dancing. The band was amazing! Every guest was up and dancing, which is what I wanted. The female vocalist was so great! I've never seen a wedding band interact with the crowd like they did. My wedding song was played beautifully! I am extremely happy with my choice!

The CK Band played at our wedding in July of 2010. We wanted a band that could deliver both salsa and soul, boy did they deliver! Not only did they play ALL of our number one requests (which we provided a little after their deadline date) but they kept our guests dancing the ENTIRE time! We were nervous to hire a band online that we had never seen in person, but they truly held up to our every expectation! The female vocalist was amazingly talented and the four part band that supported her were brilliant! I am still getting comments from my guests about how great the band was! I was pleased to have had CK Band play at my wedding. They've received many compliments! Carey was a true professional & the band leader for the evening, Beth, was wonderful too. She was an amazing hostess and extremely accomodating to the many people that delivered speeches throughout the evening. The quality of music was more than we could have ever expected. From our first dance, Crazy Love (Van Morrison) to When the Saints go Marching In - every song was delivered as authentically as possible. The musicians and singers were just wonderful! They were a critical element to the good time that our guests had. Their cost was a bargain,too!

Carey and CK Band was the highlight of the wedding reception!!! One of the most touching moments was when they played my father's song "I love You" for thebride and groom to dance to! The dancing never stopped allnight!! Thank you Thank you!! Great talent and great fun was had by all the guests.

They provided our wedding with great entertainment from start to finish! Carey was very accommodating and professional and put together a great group of musicians. Everyone danced and danced at our wedding and commented continually about the band! They were tremendous! I would recommend them to anyone looking to hire a wedding band. They came dressed appropriately, and on time and were all set and ready to go by the time everyone entered the ballroom. They were great!

Big disappointment. The biggest being the band played songs that were not on our play list and songs we specifically requested that they play under no condition.
Their overall performance was flat, including our first song.
They played too many oldies, despite repeated requests from the Bride to modernize and increase the tempo.
Their transitions between songs were long and the pauses uncomfortable.
After providing the feedback above, we felt they were dismissive of our complaints.
Overall, we would not recommend this band to anyone but an older, more subdued crowd. Older relatives liked them; anyone under 35 did not.

As far as the pauses were concerned there was an electrical problem on
the circuits at the hotel which we had no control of The one song
we played that the bride did not want played was requested by the brides parents.We quite a few current Top 40 tunes.

Excellent. Good communication. Professional. Flexible. They are even better in person than on demo. Vocalist is talented, gorgeous, and knows how to work the room and engage audience. Brass was outstanding. Our pickiest listeners were impressed with jazz horn. They were all around great. Did not want it to end. The audience loved them. They rolled with it so well - I even saw an elderly woman in the audience hold the drummers hand WHILE he was trying to play lol. They were so gracious, talented and flexible. If you can hire them - I would before it’s too late!
