This was an incredible addition to my son's first birthday party. I couldn't have asked for more. It was a the perfect combination of kid and adult friendly. Beautiful music from talented performers but done in a manner that actually engaged the children, even ones this small. I actually think their music prevented a ton of meltdowns (we had about 25 babies in attendance). I could not recommend them more and many at our party have asked for their information since.

We absolutely LOVED this band. They set such a great tone for our party- I felt like I was in a five star south American resort - they swept me away and Jose was an absolute professional - has a LOT of class AND talent and the guys also looked great! Loved the presentation!!!! We were all enchanted and they met and surpassed our expectations.

We contracted Jose and his percussionist for our intimate family new years party. The music, the vibe and their presence were an amazing addition. They catered to our requests and the environment beautifully. I would hire them again whether it be for a similar event or a larger event as they were really responsive to the different moods of the evening. Thank you Jose and Danny for ringing the New Year with us with the outstanding music!

While the band was wonderful and very talented, they did not provide the continuous music (via ipod) that was in the contract which led to lots of silence - very bad for a party. Two 20 minute breaks were agreed upon, but they turned into 1/2 hour. Too little music for too much money.

By the end of the first set, and during all the second set and third set, folks were dancing and asking for more music. Ipod hookup was available to client, but no Ipod was presented. Despite less than meticulous planning , Jose Conde y Ola Fresca once again was the life of the party where all but perhaps a slightly overzealous planner where thrilled by the perfomance and presence of the award winning band and singer.

Jose doesn’t provide a sound person. It’s like selling a car without keys. He said, he spoke to the venue, which hires out sound for events, and it was all set. The venue informed me he never contacted them. The day before the event the venue had to get the sound person. While we were frantically finding a sound person last minute. Jose kept requesting, a towel, an iron, coffee, and so on. At the venue he arrives before me, he yelled at the employees, and was rude. He complained the sound person was not there. He said when he needed the sound person. But the person arrived 1 hr before the 1st band set! He then REFUSED TO PLAY BECAUSE THERE NOT ENOUGH GUEST FOR HIM.

In 20 plus years, through thousands of events and many clients, guests, fans, and concert goers I have made overwhelmingly happy, this was by far the MOST DISORGANIZED (high end) EVENT EVER! Despite contract clearly stating requirements for audio/sound person, venue and client had neither one week before event. I showed up at venue at prescribed soundcheck time, audio/sound person arrived to load a half hour b4 my scheduled talk which was canceled cause kids were sent elsewhere. Then the first set was set for 3PM. We were told to perform to an empty hall as guests where moved to another activity. Eventually we an played and band was super despite all.
