Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on November 8, 2008From Alpharetta, GA

Everyone loved the band, even non-country fans. He did a great job. I would recommend them for a good time at your next event.

Corporate FunctionReviewed on September 27, 2008From Savannah, GA

Very accommodating even to last minute changes, It was great working with someone who was concerned about my client. Jamie and his group were on time, set up in a professional matter and asked all the right questions. I hope that I get a chance to hire this band again really soon!

Club EventReviewed on March 29, 2009From Perry, GA

From a talent standpoint, the band was top notch. Very professional and very well received. They played for a very tough audience that is an older crowd that if they don't like you, they will walk out. Nobody left. Jamie did an excellant job of mixing the song list and keeping the audience involved. Because it was an older crowd however, their song selection wasn't quite old enough and the volume was at times a little too loud. I highly recommend them for an age group that enjoys the bands from the 80's and 90's and that doesn't have to wear hearing aids.

Private PartyReviewed on July 19, 2008From Lafayette, LA

Excellent! I was looking for a "Cajun/Zydeco" band for a private party that I was throwing. I looked at numerous bands on your website, but kept going back to the Jamie Pelfrey Band. I loved their version of "Jambalaya," but I was somewhat concerned because their set list has mostly Country music listed. I talked with Jamie and he assured me that they did in fact play a variety of music, but did specialize in Country. I am very glad that I did use this band, they played our Zydeco favorites, and mixed in the Country very well, which my guests really enjoyed. They were professional, punctual, and very entertaining. I definitely recommend this band.

I think the comments say it all, but I contacted Barry to get a better understanding of what he meant by the feedback. He informed me that he never gives a perfect score for anything, hence the 4.5 scores. Also, he thought that the "How accomodating was JPB in handling special etc..." was for hotel accomodations. He was very confused over the whole feedback ordeal; however, he is wanting to book us for his Labor day weekend function coming up... enough said.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on September 15, 2014From Maysville, GA

All evening our wedding guests were commenting on how amazing the band was! They were incredibly professional and yet at the same time very down to earth, funny, and easy to talk to. They arrived at the venue with PLENTY of time just to set up and make sure everything was perfect. They made our wedding reception absolutely wonderful and we would highly recommend them to anyway!

Rehearsal DinnerReviewed on July 29, 2013From Atlanta, GA

Jamie Pelfrey and his band were awesome. Played great Country Music and Southern Rock for our Texas-themed Rehearsal Dinner. Showed up on time, very professional, very talented. The only very minor complaint I have is that there were a few special requests we provided in advance that the band didn't play (there were also a few that they did play!), but that was only a minor blip in an otherwise amazing evening.

WeddingReviewed on September 13, 2010From Fort Mill, SC

They didn't play they songs we requested months in advance, claiming that the guys who sings them was sick. But they didn't tell us that even when the coordinator went over the "must play list" with them day of. I didn't know or like many of the songs they played. I was so sad because they were our big splurge. They were late to the wedding. It was nearly impossible to get a contract. It arrived one week before the wedding. I wasn't sure they were going to show. The good news is that the guests had fun because they are good musicians. They did learn Centerfield upon request and let the groomsmen sing with the band.

:

Can anyone say, "BRIDEZILLA?" I hate to have to respond this way, but I can't let this woman lie and get away with it. We started on time, and played past the time that we had agreed to... She didn't receive a contract until 2 weeks prior, because she kept changing everything right up to the day of the wedding... We played the "Special" songs that she requested, but this client wanted us to learn 20 new songs for her reception, which I had sent her an email expaining that wasn't possible... We ARE good musicians, that's why we're ranked #1 Nationally and back up what we say we'll do!! By the way, her now Husband said that we were the BEST wedding band his guests had
