For our annual event we have in the past used another agency and in 18 years of this event, Erichs group has been the best. We had 70 people in attenance, all ages, and everyone was dancing havng a great time for every dance. I am a country club manager, and book bands to round out a 50,000 dollar entertanment budget, (at my regular job ) so I can compare with a certain expertise and I recomend this band enthusiastically. Erich and the rest of the band did a fantastic job!! Erich was professional, effcient, and a pleasure to have as a vendor at my wedding. Erich made the pre-wedding work easier with his easy-going attitude and prompt responses. At the wedding, Erich took initiative to make sure the evening went smoothly for us, and did a good job in 'reading' the crowd. As for the music, the band was right on. Having very talented live band makes a big difference for the atmosphere of an event. They walked the fine line of 'drawing in' the crowd, but not being too much for them to handle. Erich's upbeat MCing made a big difference too. Thanks guys!!

I can't rave enough about this band! They played for my 40th birthday party and they were such a hit! Everyone loved them! Erich was a pleasure to work with and he was extremely accomodating and professional. I can't wait to have another party just so I can have them play again. I had listened to MANY band demos prior to finding The Uptown Band and none of them blew me away like this band did. Jenifer's vocals are amazing! And the band was so in sync! Erich and his band were fantastic, in fact we might be hiring them for our Christmas party. Although Erich is younger, he was able to play all the music that fit our party,which was the 50's. They had a great sound and the residents and their families loved them. In fact they are still talking about them today(week later). Erich and his band are perfect for any occasion you might have.

We could not be more satisfied with our overall experience with the Uptown Band. We hired the Uptown Band to perform at our wedding reception, and they absolutely made it an unforgettable night. The Uptown Band featuring Erich Cawalla and Jenifer Kinder is FABULOUS! Working with Erich was very professional. He was very responsive and strived to provide the best service…which by far he delivered! We contribute our guests having a great time at our wedding mainly to the Uptown Band. The band kept our guests dancing all night and we have had so many compliments on how WONDERFUL and ENTERTAINING the Uptown Band was. I've had the pleasure of hearing Uptown Band play at a wedding before, so when I started searching for a band to play Jazz for our corporate event I immediately thought of Uptown Band. The entire process was simple and Erich was extremely nice and easy-going. The day of the event they arrived and set up on time, played great music, and contributed greatly to the atmosphere and overall success of this event. The Uptown Band was absolutely incredible! The musicians and vocalists are all incredibly talented. Best of all Erich is the total package. He is an awesome musician, vocalist and overall entertainer. He orchestrated the entire event. The dance floor was packed from the beginning of the reception to the end. I can't say enough about this band. They far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend The Uptown Bamd !!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this band I don't know that I'll have enough space. Erich and Jenifer are not only talented, they're wonderful people to work with. The band had guests on the floor dancing the entire night - I can't remember the last time I was at a wedding where that happened. They made my husband and me feel like a million bucks. Everyone is still raving about how incredible the band was. Erich is a great manager and kept everything organized. They made our parents and guests feel very welcome all night long. Jenifer has such a beautiful voice! I had the wedding of my dreams and The Uptown Band helped make it possible!

The Uptown Band was absoluely AMAZING! They were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. They are incredibly talented. My new husband and I have very energetic and fun friends/family and they Uptown Band did not fail to please the crowd! The band was fantastic! We received many complements from our guests on the voice quality of Erich and Jenifer. They were wonderful to deal with, and extremely accommodating on song choices. The musicians were among the best. They were experts at mixing in music for older and younger crowds. Jenifer's renditions of Lady Gaga and Adele were tremendous. From even the moment before I decided to book them to the week after the event, they were terrific in every way - talented & profesionally.
