Magical Mayhem was great...Everyone..including adults had a great time, and were impressed by his magic. It was age appropriate for my 5yr old, but the 8,9,10 yr olds enjoyed it too. Mr. Juris did an amazing job keeping 12 four and five year olds occupied for an hour. The children were excited as many of them had never seen a magician before. He arrived on time (acually early) and stayed a little longer than expected as some of the children broke their balloons. Mr. Juris was very accommodating in making the children an extra balloon. My son, the birthday boy, loved the show as did the Moms who stayed for the party. I would highly recommend Mr. Juris for any child's party.

Peter Juris of Magical Mayhem performed magic tricks at my 4 year old's birthday party. He was exceptional at engaging all the kids. They laughed, shrieked and just had a wonderful time. Many parents told me later that their kid couldn't stop talking about the magic show days after it was over. Besides his performance at the birthday party, I also found Peter very easy to do business with. He was professional, pleasant,curteous and flexible.I would definitely hire him again and would also recommend him highly to anyone looking to give their kids a great party!

Magical Mayhem was a great addition to the party. They arrived on time, were very courteous, and performed as requested. I would have loved to have them for a longer time and put on a show but this party was not the venue for it. I plan on using them again, and would recommend them for others to use. Thank you Peter! Peter Juris performed for our 9 year old daughter's birthday party. He provided a warm and enthusiastic show perfectly appropriate for the children present. My daughter was thoroughly delighted! And my husband & I were able to enjoy her party all the more because the children were so well handled by the "magician". The show was funny, clever and interactive. We could not have made a better choice for her special day. Many thanks to all.

What a GEM! Everyone RAVED about Peter's performance and he sure knew how to keep a room entertained!! Several different guests complimented us on having hired Peter. One guest was amazed that their 7 year old son sat still for the entire performance (90minutes). Peter was professional from the first contact I had with him through the final goodbye at the end of his performance. I would highly recommend Peter to others. In fact, we're hoping Peter is still performing in 2 years when our next child has his big day!

Peter was great and the show was a hit! He did a wonderful job of getting all the kids involved in the show and the true critics, the kids, absolutely loved him. The kids' laughter and excitement throughout the show says it all. He worked very well with the children and was easy to work with and very accommodating. I highly recommend him!!

About the only thing I could suggest is how to give the kids something other than gob stoppers and gum, as they are not only choke hazzards, but not appropriate for young kids. Most of the kids ended up spitting them out. Otherwise all had a wonderful time, thanks.

During the magic trick where I make "Magic Candy" appear out of nowhere, The kids were given a choice of all different candies to choose from, not just gobstoppers and gum. After the party a parent suggested to me to only offer lollipops. So, now I plan to offer the parents the opportunity to choose the type of candy they would like offered.

Students said Magical Mayhem had a great show. They enjoyed his sense of humor and loved the way he brought audience members onto the stage. This is our second time using Magical Mayhem and he is a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him!

Although,I found Peter Jarvis to be pleasant, I have to say I was very disappointed,especially after hearing many kids say they were not impressed with the magic that was performed for them and seeing some kids not even paying attention and were running around. One example, my daughter told me that Peter was attempting to make something disappear and when it didn't he had an expression of, (oh,oh) and then pretended to have it reappear when it never disappeared to begin with.This reflected on the fact that I hired him and I was embarrassed at what the kids said especially that I repeatedly asked to make sure kids were entertained. Would not recommend to anyone.

While I am sorry that this client was not happy I do find her complaint odd. The trick she makes reference to, plays out as if the magician has messed up and isn't able to make the bottle disappear. I pretend to get nervous and then I say I'll make the bottle reappear (to cover my apparent mistake). I do this repeatedly as the children yell out that the bottle never vanished from the paper bag, all the while insisting that I'm making the bottle vanish. Finally, acting frustrated, I crumple the paper bag, with the bottle inside of it, into a small ball proving the bottle truly is gone. This trick can be seen on my "Magical Mayhem Demo" on this site.

Peter was very responsive to all of my requests and phone calls/e-mails. he arrived on time and was ready to go as scheduled. Peter was very good with the children---they loved him....at times he seemed a bit nervous...but overall he did exceptionally well and I would recommend him to others. Thank you Peter!!!!

Peter is great. VERY pleasant, very easy to work with, and great with the kids. The only reason he didn't get "5" for talent and recommendation is because as far as magic goes, there was not too much. I had anticipated pulling money out of their noses and super cool, "OMG, how did he do that?" stuff. BUT, he entertained the kids and was super funny and involved both kids and adults. However, if you're looking for someone to do alot of awe inspiring magic tricks...I am not so sure. That said, the party was great, the kids had a blast and everyone laughed alot. He was a great sport, even with those tough critics (the kids!). Generally speaking, he was pretty great.

OMG. Peter communicates and asks the small details to make your party truely magical. We had a first birthday where Peter included all the children and adults as well. I had everyone tell me this was the best act they seen.

Peter arrived early went over everything with me with regard to communion girl, Madison and immediate family being included in the act. His act was very appropriate for the age group but entertaining for us "Big Kids" too! I have to say he was wonderful with our autistic grandson, Logan ( the communion girls little brother) , Peter included him in the act and Logan took right to him which is unusual. Everyone had a great time. Really enjoyed his act and the balloon animals too.
