Private PartyReviewed on September 30, 2010From Lawrence, KS

Very nice people, and a fair price. However, they came out, dressed as a clown and then proceeded to sit in a chair the entire day, make balloons and just sit them all around. When the kids came up they just gave them away-no real interaction with the kids, and they didn't even do special request balloons. I am not sure she could even make anything with the balloons except a fishing pole and a dog? I think that there are much better options out there and would not reccomend them to anyone. Thanks!

:

Kevin Green booked Fiddlesticks the Clown to do Ballonn Twisting only which she did. He said he only wanted her to sit at a table and give out Balloons which was done. He never supplied the table or chairs which was in the contract. Anyone who requested special balloons got them. He was disoriented and spaced out and didn't know what he was doing! She made way more than a fishing pole and a dog. All the kids loved the many different balloon figures that she made. I think Hy-Vee needs a new sane manager that knows what he is doing!!

Birthday Party (Kids)Reviewed on April 30, 2012From Waynesville, MO

The entertainment portion was overall good, however they arrived late & they weren't very personable as in they had to keep asking what the birthday boy's name was. The balloons were a hit & the kids liked the face painting but it was basically the same thing for each kid (so maybe she could learn how to paint other things). Also, I felt bad bc I had to run to the ATM to pay the rest of the fee bc they never told me they were going to need cash, I thought id be paying on this website thru paypal, that could of been avoided if they had just let me know over the phone.

:

If we could rate Jessica Perez we'd give her -1.She never signed the contract & never returned it as many times as I called her.All the times I called her or e-mailed her she ignored us.I wasn't going to do the gig but she paid the deposit on Gigmasters. The contract stated we were to be paid the balance in CASH only upon arrival and also I e-mailed her and called her leaving messages. But she still didn't pay us after we finished our show.We told her before we started that we had another show after her's in Camdenton, Mo.After we packed and asked to be paid she told us that she had no money and that she'd pay it on PayPal. We said we we weren't set to be paid on PayP

two things that they said would happen that didn't, they said they were going to do an illusion that would make the birthday girl float in the air, and they didn't, they also said they would give her a magic kit and they didn't do that either?????

Manzini probably had a wonderful show 20 years ago, but it is time to retire.

Mario is no doubt a talented man, however, with the age group we had of 16-19 it is very hard to hold the attention of these kids for two hours without really "wowing" them. As the show went on the kids got restless, tired, and somewhat bored. I mean no disrespect to Mario, however, I would not recommend him to this age group for future events. I believe a little more mature crowd would appreciate the show more. Thanks. One other thing I have a second email requesting a $20 deposit/booking fee? We will not be paying any additional monies. Mario has been paid in full.

:

First I don't know what happened with the 1st & 2nd request by e-mail from Gigmasters for her to pay the $ 20 booking fee as I had paid it myself as always. I was paid in full. We do so many After Proms and the kids always are into my shows. I was booked to do my variety show of Comedy Magic, Illusions, Fire Eating, Houdini style Escapes, Hypnotism & Mentalism. I was booked to do a 2 hour show however just as I was beggining to do my Hypnotism & Mentalism, Beth told us to cut the show and just finish with the Escapes which I did. They cut 30 minutes off my show so I wasn't able to do the Hypnotism & Mentalism portion of my show. After the show she told us that the ki

HE WAS VERY NICE & POLITE. HOWEVER I FELT LIKE BECAUSE OF THE MONEY I SPENT HE COULD OF CHANGED OUTFITS HAD MORE SPECIAL EFFECTS AND INTERACTED WITH CROWD MORE. HE WAS VERY MELLOW AND PLAYED ALOT OF SLOW MUSIC EVEN WHEN I ASKED MANY TIMES TO PICK UP THE TEMPO BECAUSE OF MANY REQUESTS FROM THE CROWD. I JUST WISH HE COULD OF DANCED MORE & GOT THE CROWD GOING A BIT MORE FOR THE MONEY I SPENT.

:

When she contacted me I said I'd fit their budget which I did.I lowered my usual fee.She wanted me to sing Elvis for 2 hours without a break which I did.I couldn't change outfits in front of everyone while I was singing. She also asked me to do my Magic Show for 1 hour which I did and my assistant also played fiddle. My whole show I interacted with everyone.I danced with the woman when I sung when they came to me.All I sang was requests. Many wanted slow love songs.Love Me Tender,Are You Lonesome Tonight, etc.I sang mostly fast songs.Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog,etc. We did a 4 hour show instead of the 2 hours. After the show she gave me $ 100 tip saying she loved my show?

You need to have negative numbers to describe how bad it was. This was the worst show i have ever seen.

:

This was the worst gig that I have ever performed at.The man in charge of the prom insisted that he wanted to play my CD's.I spent over an hour with him in the control booth that had no lights. He had trouble loading the Cd's as he couldn't see the CD player. The whole time I was going over my music with him he had other guys there taking with him.He never paid attention to me talking.During my show he missed all the music cues and when he did play them, they were the wrong Cds.Also volunteers from the audience ripped 2 straps off my strait-jacket so I couldn't use it.Throughout my show everybody was nasty and out of control. It was impossible to do my show but I tried.

Mr. Manzini had good intentions; however, we were expecting a team, both he and his wife. She was to do face painting and to help sell magic items at the booth. He was to walk among the families to present magic tricks till his show time. Before the event he changed to coming by himself and needing to stay near his booth. His show had some well executed magic tricks, but it was completely over shadowed by extensive talking about what "he would like to show, had done in the past, or might do with more time. This talking created a negative mood during his show and the members were disappointed. We're sorry to have to give such a low review.

:

This is Not True! I spoke to Monica Mahaer about my different shows. She wanted a Magician/Balloon Twister which I do both.I also offered her my Aerial Escape,Houdini Water Tank Escape,My wife to do Clown/Face Painting.Monica said she only wanted a Magician/Balloon Twister. She already had a Face Painter booked. That is what is on the contract that she signed & dated with me.They had a Face Painter there already.I did my walk around magic as she wanted me to do for 1.5 hours plus Balloons and a 45 minute main show of magic & escapes.I never said what I would like to show if I had more time, etc.I couldn't talk as the MC did all of the talking.Monica was not even there.

Birthday Party (Kids)Reviewed on May 31, 2015From Madison, MO

Mario and his wife did a great job! The kids ( and adults) loved the party. Some parents even told me the kids were still talking about the show the next morning! Mario was excellent in communicating with me prior to the show and offered ideas and helpful suggestions for the party during planning. He did exactly what he said he would do, and provided the backdrop and magic kit for my son. It was a fun time for all!
