I hired Steven for my 50th birthday party and he dazzled and delighted our group of about 20 with close-up magic. Not only does he have exceptional talent as a magician, but also an innate flair for storytelling with a poet's heart. Steven is really beyond star ratings -- he is on the unicorn plane of rare greatness.

This was, hands down, the best decision we could have made to hire Steven Paul Carlson for our charity event! I would completely recommend him to anyone looking for entertainment. Our clients, being all adults, were skeptical of a magician at first but about 10 seconds into interacting with him, they were astonished and felt a joy overtake them! He is amazing to talk to, watch and just spending time around him was a pleasure! I can not wait to do business with him, in the future, and as I know he will always be a hit!

We had Steven Paul Carlson come to a small bachelor/bachelorette we had for my friends and he was AMAZING. He was very professional and arrived to our location in time. The magic he performed was insanely entertaining, astonishing even. He catered his act to the eclectic audience we had, and had the bride and groom participate in a couple tricks. Everyone was extremely satisfied with his performance. I highly recommend Steven Paul Carlson for any event. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Stephen was easy to work with from the very beginning. He responded to all of our questions promptly and was willing to tailor his show to our group, both in terms of its size and age. (We had a group of about 80 Girl Scouts.) The girls LOVED the show, and the parents who were there told me how impressed they were with Stephen and thought it was perfect for our "Carnival" themed camp. I would hire Stephen again and will recommend him to others looking for this type of talent.

Steven is the consummate professional. I hired him to do close up magic for a small group of friends at a party. How did he do THAT was the most often asked question as he made coins disappear from our hands, showed us why we should never play three card monte, etc. All this while we were just a couple of feet away. Great patter too. He was punctual, polite and interesting to chat with- he's an artist (did courtroom illustrations for a TV station for a while) and was the house magician at Excalibur in Las Vegas. As you can tell I was extremely pleased with his performance and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Steven came to Gospel Hill Camp to put on an hour show for about 80 kids and it was an absolute success! The campers were SOOO impressed by the magic tricks he had to share with them. Steven did a great job of keeping their attention and even had some counselors volunteer to help him with his tricks. Steven also tied a great spiritual message into one of his tricks that reminded the campers that we are all created equally by God but uniquely made in special ways! The campers were in awe the whole time and I'm sure they would love to have Steven come back again to do another show. I greatly recommend Steven for any children's event, he is very talented!

Steven was absolutely amazing and far exceeded all expectations! It was a very hot day as well and Im sure he wished it was an indoor event. But with the group we had and a birthday pool party, it was to be outside. His show was very engaging to the kids as well as the adults! My own family was oooing and awing as much as the kids being stunned with such magic! Everyone was all eyes and totally amazed. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone, for any event of any kind! Thank you for making my little girl's B-day one party she and the rest of us will never forget.
