I have never hired the same mariachi band for any event twice, to get an idea of what is out there. That changed Saturday for me. Mariachi Calmecac totally blew everyone that was at the party away. They played everyone's request, had everyone join in at times during there performance, and were very professional. They looked great and sounded even better. The next time I am in the Houston area they will be the first ones I call. They also accommodated me from one day to the next, (it was kind of a spur of the moment party).

I was very much satisfied with Mariachi Calmecac!!!! They were wonderful, they were invited for my moms bday and it had her crying and smiling with joy!!!!! Thats all I asked for and thats just what they delivered! We will most definitely be calling them for my mother in laws bday next year. They have no video up on the Gigmasters web site but its none needed. I definitely recommend this band to anyone out there = )

We hired Mariachi Calmecac for my moms 65 birth day party,They where iceing on the cake. They are great performers they brought tears to are eyes and smiles to are faces.So if you looking for Mariachi to perform for you these are your guys. The Mariachis were excellent, they knew all the songs that were requested and they looked,played & sang fantastic.They showed up at the time requested & played the whole hour. We highly recommend them.We plan to hire them again.

Mariachi Calmecac was the absolute best Mariachi group I've seen in the Houston circuit. Actually they are the best I’ve ever seen. They are top professionals who were born to share their culture and talent in a spirit rich and entertaining manner. We had a unique event that the group worked with us, without hesitation, in creating exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. I have received feedback from multiple guests describing the event as a HUGE success. Then they all go on to say “especially the Mariachis.” I was overwhelming please with the group and all of its members. They are the group you are hoping for!

Wonderfully talented group! Singers, in particular, were exceptional. Biggest problem was that they were over an hour late but in the context of our wedding, it worked out. When they got there though, they were awesome!

The performance was fine, not the best Mariachi I've heard but it was a last minute hire. It was also not worth the price I payed. They arrived thirty minutes late, getting a hold of them was a bit difficult. The only special request I had and asked numerous times was that they don't waste time by asking for requests, to already have a list of songs to perform...and second song in they started to ask what we wanted to hear. As for the requests, they didn't know half the songs requested. I wanted to avoid wasted time and I got quite a bit of it. Overall presentaiton was good, guests were pleased and they were friendly but I would not hire again.

They were on time which was fantastic, however, I was disappointed when they started playing. The instruments and singing were off key, not just for one song.
A couple in the band were constantly hugging and kissing which I felt was inappropriate for the time. They could have been a bit more professional.
Also a band member sort of blew me off by making a hand gesture when I asked them to wait a bit before playing their next song, this was so my Parents could have their marriage Blessed by their Priest.

Pablo and his group were 30 minutes late to our event. The mariachis were young and seemed a bit inexperienced, but they were professional and accommodating. They offered to stay an additional 30 min. to make up for their tardiness ,but we were on a schedule and that didn't work out. Overall I would recommend them with a slight reservation.

They could have used 10 more minutes of prep time before their performance. At they played without the mircro-phones on, so the singing and music did not project into the audience as much as I would have liked. Also, I would have enjoyed more signing from the female voice. Overall I was pleased with the performance and will recommend them to all my friends and the church staff.
Definitely will hire them again in the future.

They were AWESOME! They were on time, played for the full time, were well dressed, professional, extremely talented, played a great variety of music, and got the party started! I also loved the fact that I booked 4 players and they brought 6, which made the sound and effect even better! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I was very pleased with Mariachi Calmecac's performance. I hired them for my parents' anniversary and my mom specifically asked me to give very positive reviews for their overall talent. I highly recommend them. Please note that they were about 40 minutes late which we anticipated based on comments from other reviewers. Again, they were great and I would hire them again.

Excelente! Muchas gracias! This is my first time hiring a mariachi and I couldn't have done better!. The musicians from Mariachi Calmecac made me look so good with my guests and made me look like a hero to my wife. They played every request from the quests and they showed an incredible talent with the instruments and their voices. Also, You can't beat their prices!! I will always recommend Mariachi Calmecac to all of my friends and will definitely hire them again if the occasion arises. I thank them for their professionalism and the communication they had with me in order to make the event a nice birthday surprise. This is surely the best Mariachi band in Houston.

Mariachi Calmec, Did a spectacular job! Me and the rest of the crowed were astonished by their performance. Their outfits were so unique and their talent unmatched by any other mariachi I have hired in the past. I recommend them for any occasion. They were very polite and willing to go out of their way to make my event successful. I am glad I chose Mariachi Calmec and will be hiring them again soon. Thank You Pablo!
