I was very pleased with BashPower. Shawn did an excellent job with music for our banquet party for 5 hours. He played softer music during cocktail hour & dinner and amped it up for dancing. He quickly located and played requests from the group. He was able to keep everyone from kids to seniors entertained. I would definitely hire him again.

Shawn was awesome for a teenage party! Played all the music they wanted to listen to and was able to get them on the dance floor! It was fun for the kids to request music and the kids and adults all enjoyed it. Super fun to have a DJ at a party!!!!!! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed working with Shawn of BashPower. He is a professional that went to great ends to accommodate myself and the event that I was putting on. He is extremely flexible and a pleasure to work with. He also really knew what he was doing once he got his chance to get the party started. He wasn't kidding when he referred himself to the "Human Pandora" and he had a sixth sense of what song to play and when to play it. He really excelled in every area I asked him to and I'd highly recommend him to anyone trying to find a DJ for their next event!

Shawn seems to be quite a good DJ normally, however there was a pretty big technical issue during the ceremony and a couple more minor mistakes. At the ceremony the sound was very peppy and rough due to a last minute issue which he couldn't fix or fully identify. During the bride's walk her song cut out and another random song played for a second and then it was silent. He was also very tired and generally unhappy seeming. There was a name mispronouncing of the groom during the reception. Like I said, I really think this was the exception for him, unfortunately it fell on my wedding. He did give us a full refund right away. I feel like I need to post this.

I will admit to being tired, which contributed to all of the problems (aside from the technical problems; I am now getting new equipment to address that issue). I had a wedding the night before, which went great...but I didn't allow myself enough time to rest before this morning wedding. In the future, I promise to either not have two events so close together with no time for rest, or have another DJ play the second event for me. I fully apologize to you and Julie. I wish the two of you the best.

Bash Power was great. Was able to take what I asked and run with it. He played great songs all over different genres and had to whole party dancing and having a good time. Shawn arrived early to set up for our high school dance, was communicative throughout the entire process, and was a phenomenal talent for such an affordable price! Every time our teens got distracted he brought them back to the dance floor with current hits and well-placed throwbacks. He also made sure to play the clean edits of all the top hits so both the teenagers AND adults were happy! Great vibes, awesome lights show, will definitely be asking him back for future events!

We had an outdoor wedding & reception. Ceremony was in front of waterfall on a large pond, reception in event tent. Shawn arrived a couple hours early to set up at waterfall as well as in tent, so we had music & microphone for both. He played music exactly as requested by the bride & groom at all the right times, including music for guest arrivals before wedding as well as cocktail hour & dinner. Sound (including volume) was perfect. Loved the lights that coordinated with the music!
