JTodd Music really came through with the entertainment at our company dinner. The DJ/Karaoke we hired fell through and Jeff Todd was able to find us a band. Mark Valentine with Valentine and The Ticklers met me at the event space a few days before our dinner to check out where the band would be set up. He was kind enough to let us use his PA system for announcements before the band played, he interacted with the crowd and accommodated requests. We will definitely consider using JTodd Music Agency for future events.

The DJ that did our wedding was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure we were keeping on track for time and preventing any awkward lulls in the reception. The guests were really happy and he made sure to accommodate any requests they had. I will be sure to use them for any other event I have and would recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat.

Everything was awesome! I was so frazzled with the party set up that they came in, I pointed to the stage area and they set up and had everything ready to roll before I had finished getting ready myself. Great time was had by all!

Very satisfied with J Todd Music! We decided about 5 minutes before our wedding party dance to change the song and they were very happy to accommodate us! They were also willing to travel almost 100 miles away from Kansas City to the outskirts of a town of less than 100. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ at our wedding!

I would like to say that If anyone is looking for a DJ for a wedding, or any other event that this is the one to use. They were very good at making sure that I didn't have to worry about anything. And very good about staying in contact with you to make sure all your requests have been met. Again very pleased.

Very pleased! A lot of people showed up earlier than was planned but he just put on some music while they waited. He worked well with us, knew that it would take us a little while to say hello to everybody but then after that he got the party going and kept it going at a good pace. We didn't feel rushed at all. We had a blast!! All of our family and friends let us know that they had a lot of fun too.

Overall we really did have an excellent experience using J Todd Music to set up a DJ for a sweet sixteen dance for our daughter. There was a mix up that was a misunderstanding on my part and Jeff responded immediately and was very courteous while fixing the issue. The DJ (Donald) he provided was very good. The music he played was very appropriate and the kids had a great time which is all we were after anyway. The only thing I was disappointed in was the light show picture on the website looked bigger than what we actually got. But, once the sun went down and it was dark enough, it did seem to be plenty. Great job!

I recommend J Todd Music but most importantly, I recommend using a DJ company rather than an individual DJ. After J Todd's contracted DJ backed out the day before our wedding, J Todd went above & beyond to find a replacement that did an excellent job. It occurred to me how scary it would've been if I had actually hired that DJ solo. I would've been left without one. However, J Todd is your advocate and sees the contract as a contract, which is refreshing!

J Todd services were great He was ready and prepared for the time that we asked him to be. The music was great and he was able to play all the songs that we asked, and songs that guest asked to play. The only complaints that we had were that he played too many line dances in a row, and that we were not given breaks ( bride and groom) between dances to visit with friends and family.

The DJ didn't seem as he had a clue about anything. He wasn't sure how to connect his own equipment, he didn't seem comfortable in the situation, and he practically asked me if my company was hiring for a day job, unprofessional. We had additional entertainment, that asked about connecting in through their audio system, JTodd was going to charge them as well as my company for the connection and time, we paid the hotel 1/5 of the cost. The same 80s & 90s music was played throughout the event, despite many requests, so very few of our guests, if any, were happy with the DJ.

"I was the DJ for J Todd for this event. It is very disconcerting to read a review like this. To acknowledge the complaint, there were internet problems, and I was unable to accommodate a very small number of requests. Unfortunately, sometimes one or two unhappy people is all it takes to have an unsatisfied crowd. For that, I regret and was very sorry for. However, in Jeff Todd's defense, he offered up to a full refund for the inconvenience. Sadly, it seemed like this client wanted to remain unhappy. While the other vendor and myself were discussing some technical questions, there were zero issues. She also mentioned how I asked about the place of employment. I

J Todd Music was very professional, helpful in the order of the reception and selecting songs, organized and his DJ was punctual, kept the reception going with no awkward stalls, led the garter toss, bouquet toss, cake cutting and everything else pertaining to our reception. Charge us additional charges once to venue&would not give receipt. Not only complete rude to the bride & groom was completely disrespectful to the wedding venue staff& guests They didnt play the music they told us they would. We asked different times to give us music during toasting didn't play anything&ignored the whole room. Their lack of communication was very poor. Dj wouldn't even introduce self. Guests were leaving because he wasn't doing his job. Never introduced wedding party and parents. Didn't play the songs on the must play list until 10 @ night when they said they play those first if I could give them less stars I would. Won't answer our phone calls now.

First of all i didn't find out that i was in the loft of an unconditioned barn till 4:00pm the day of the wedding. We charge every client a $50 if stairs are involved. The was never any mention of stairs. If we were made aware of that fact before the day of event the fee would have been waived. As for receipt the groom or the event manager who handed me the cash didn't ask for any receipt. Being in the loft you are not connected with the audience and visually can not see the venue below. i was not told the bride, the groom or the wedding party had arrived until the wedding party walked into the room at that time i did introduce the bride and groom into the room. I

Jeff was an amazing DJ! One of the best we have ever had! He DJ'd our fundraiser during an annual MdYear Conference. He kept the attendees entertained and involved! If we come back to Kansas City Jeff you will will absolutely be our 1st call for a DJ!

Jeff was very accommodating, and listened to what we were wanting. He also gave us advise where needed but let us make the decision and how we wanted the event go. He was prompt in responding to my calls or emails which was good. Our event went to plan with the DJ showing up early, setting up, and getting settled in before guests arrived. Overall I was happy with the service and the evening.
