The night started off a bit rough; not for us but for Duane, the DJ, who had a car accident on his way to our event. He called to let us know what happened and informed us that he still intended to DJ our party. He could have easily said he was going to call it a night, but he didn't and for that we appreciated him. When he arrived there was less than two hours left in our party, but he transitioned well and was able to MC a competition, play our requested songs and keep the fun going until the end of the night.

I was unable to attend the event but I asked guests about the services you provided. I was told by the guests that you did not MC the event & there were no dance lights set up like you agreed to do. I didn't witness what happened at the event so I can only go off of what the guests thought. This is how the guests rated you.

While Duane was rather professorial he did not handle the duties of emcee for our wedding as discussed. He was not as good at playing to the crowd. Everyone said the music could've been much better. Overall I dont think he was ready for my event. He did not even bring the lights for the dance floor as he stated.

This review is very untrue. I provided lighting and the MC requirements were met for reception however as the night went on most guests and Bride and groom were in another room socializing and weren't following the order of events. They also cut some things out so most of the announcements became unnecessary. Played music as planned and requested but as people were in another room standing in line for the bar and drinks and socializing they weren't aware of what I was playing.

I felt as though the DJ did not do his part in knowing what I wanted and preferred. I had to reach out to the DJ multiple times to get him the information needed such as song requests, do not play list etc. It got down to 6 days before the event without the DJ contacting me at all. He responses to my emails were always one worded.

This client didn't follow my advice even though I have many years of experience with Weddings. I even emailed out a check list and instruction form to make the process smooth. Instead of sending me the necessary info a week ahead of the wedding and going over things after she finalized the details of the ceremony she kept emailing me info for months and it kept changing which causes confusion. That's why I always advise not to do it to far out from the date of the event. She had a wedding cordinator that wasn't sure of the plans and gave me misinformation so it wasn't my fault for following wrong instructions the day of. I believe the event planner also was confused

In all honesty, it was the worst experience ever at our wedding. He was unprepared, did not have the updated files I had sent him of the songs and order of the event. Terrible communication. He had more then half of our songs wrong and had no idea what was happening throughout the event. Also, I spoke to him before the event to make sure he had everything and he had written down all the changes and I answered all his question but yet he did not change anything and had EVERYTHING wrong even our first dance song. My family even had to take the mic at times because he was the worse MC. DO NOT HIRE HIM! trust me, I would have gave him all 0’s if I could.

First off this was a Halloween themed ceremony and reception. The dj made one attempt to engage with the crowd. Had no knowledge of how to hook into another system so the video crew could capture the audio. Didn't read the numerous emails sent to him laying out the correct songs and order they go in. Got one of the songs wrong at the ceremony. Didn't go in order of songs after the first few were played at the reception. Had no personality and again didn't try after one failed attempt to engage the crowd. Video crew said he was difficult and seemed like he didnt care. Didn't even dress up for a HALLOWEEN reception even though we stated he could. Look elsewhere!!!!

Were I able to be seen or see anyone else, which is why the job was impossible to be done to my standard exceptional service as noted in the more than 26 positive re reviews. Also obviously if I was placed behind a curtain I had no access to anyone to interact with, when I asked if the curtain and screen would be up all night and through the ceremony because I wasn't going to be able to see what was going on to stay on cue to play the songs appropriately. The event planner said she told the couple this the day before but they insisted it stay as is. The video crew messed up and blamed me

Wayne did a great job! He followed the program and any last minute request. He played the music we liked and fit in well with an older crowd. I’m so glad we selected Wayne and Gigmasters.

Dj DL played a variety of music and had everyone on their feet dancing the night away, for our Annual Meeting Reception. He was super nice and very accommodating! If we ever have another conference in the Baltimore area, we will most definitely be contacting him.
