Christmas PartyReviewed on December 16, 2023From Georgetown, TX

Excellent harpist musician with technical knowledge of the instrument and how to achieve the greatest sound out of the harp which is often subordinate to other instruments used in an orchestra environment. Carol has a gifted personality to interact and engage with guests and curious onlookers.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on July 26, 2022From Austin, TX

Carol was amazing. She handled all special requests I had and even the last minute changes, she introduced herself as soon as she got there. Dressed up elegantly and to match my wedding colors. Played that harp like an Angel. Everything about her was 100% professional and well done. Would definitely hire her again. She made our wedding much more magical.

Everything was perfect! Carol was on time, professional and delivered a beautiful performance. The guests were truly impressed and enjoyed also chatting with Carol about her talent. She is a very pretty woman, inside and out, with an ethereal quality that lends itself well to playing the harp! I highly recommend Carol Tatum for your event too.

I was very satisfied with carol! She came on time as she said she would and was so sweet. She played the harp like an angel. I got very great compliments about her and the way she played the harp set the mood just right. I couldn't have asked for anything more. she helped make my event a beautiful night to remember. Thanks again Carol.

WeddingReviewed on November 1, 2008From Idyllwild, CA

We were delighted with Carol. She communicated with us before the wedding as to our preferences and even learned a new piece at our request. Our guests loved her playing and enjoyed talking with her during her performance. The music added so much to our special day and almost everyone of our guests complimented us on our choice of music. Carol made the day beautiful in every way. I would recommend Carol to anyone looking to make their occasion memorable. She is a special person with a very special talent. Katherine Herd

WeddingReviewed on September 20, 2008From La Habra, CA

She is absolutely wonderful. Her talent is amaizing and she was very professional. Although she had to cut her time short, no one at the wedding knew the difference and she gave me 6 CD's to have an apology for leaving early as well as a wedding gift. It was so nice of her to do that for me and her music is beautiful. Thank you so Carol!!!

she was late...... my husband and i are very upset about that, very disatisfied....

Carol Tatum (Austin/San Antonio/Lakeway, etc.):

From Carol Tatum: It should be explained that the bride changed her ceremony time from 5:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (5:30 p.m. was written on the contract) but did not inform me of the time change. This is the only time in 14 years this unfortunate miscommunication has occurred. I would like to thank Stephanie for her kind rating of 4.5 stars for my talent.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on July 20, 2021From San Marcos, TX

Carol Tatum (Austin/San Antonio/Lakeway, etc.):

It is difficult to play for a client whose planner is not a professional. This wedding was one of the most difficult I've played for in the last 20 years. Even the venue employess were frustrated. I was asked to move and DID move harp locations THREE times (a first for me), which entails moving an amplifer, table, harp, chair, stand, cords, etc. (not easy). I was expected to play outside even though the weather was on the verge of raining/sprinkling, which damages my harp. I also learned a song for the bride at no charge, which takes HOURS of additional time, as a courtesy to the bride to make her happy. Extremely stressful, unorganized and easy to blame me.

Beautiful music ideally fit our intimate dinner for 4. We originally booked Carol for 1 hour, but extended that to 2 hours because we enjoyed the music so much.
