We cannot recommend Charisma highly enough. They played our wedding in June 2019 and every generation from the Boomers to the kids has been raving about them. They were very easy to work with from contract to music selections to day off logistics. The band members are multi-talented so they can go in any direction musically to keep the energy of your event high. As a bonus, they learned a Taylor Swift song and backed my 10-year-old niece who wanted to sing, and they were all terrific. Marie MC’d the entire event and is a total pro. If you’re planning a wedding or an event that requires great music, just book Charisma and move on to worry about something else.

When we began looking at bands for our wedding we read a review that said, "Don't waste your time looking, just book Charisma." Best advice I have ever taken and the best piece of advice I could pass on to someone looking for a fabulous band. There are no words. Charisma exceeded our expectations. Everyone at our wedding, all ages, loved the variety of music Charisma played and their energy. Additionally, the songs the band learned for us were played and sung flawlessly. My husband and I are trying to figure out what party we can have next so that we can hire Charisma to play again. Thank you Charisma for adding that special touch to our very special day! You Rock!

Charisma was just terrific. This was our family's third wedding with them--that's right, our third, and they couldn't have been better or easier to deal with. The guests were dancing even before introductions. Charisma plays great music for all generations. We're trying to come up with another family event for them to play at!

Exceeded all expectations.
From the first to the last song people never stopped dancing.
The guest told us over and over again how great they were and one soon to married couple wants to hire them for there wedding.
The father daughter dance song was amazing.
Don't waste time looking around just hire them they are the BEST.

We have nothing but enormous praise and gratitude for Charisma! From the time of booking through to the end of our wedding night, they were easy to work with. Their talent is incredible; guests during and after the wedding commented to us at how talented the band is, and thought it was the original band onstage for each song! They learned a new song for a surprise father/daughter dance, and checked in with us prior to the wedding to confirm pronunciations of names, the order of events, etc. They worked well with our venue's wedding coordinator throughout the wedding. We can't wait to attend a wedding where they're the band so we can listen to them again! So amazing!!

We hired Charisma for our daughter 's wedding at The Riverhouse. They were fantastic! Maria is a great singer and wedding coordinator. The band played all of the requests we gave them in advance and kept everyone on the dance floor. The entire band is very talented. George is a lead vocal and nailed the Billy Joel songs. My daughter and son in law along with our wedding guests complimented us on what a great band we had. Would highly recommend Charisma for any party you are considering!

AWESOME BAND! Don’t even think about another option. We got married in early December and our friends and family keep talking about the amazing band. Charisma played out our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed until the very last song. Marie was very easy to work with and the team was professional and responsive for any of our requests during the planning process, including learning our first dance song.

From our first contact with Charisma through the wedding itself, they were completely professional and helpful. They accommodated all our requests, including learning and arranging classical music for our processional and recessional, served as MC for the wedding, and played all different genres of music which many of our guests remarked on as being one of the best things about the wedding. Charisma was undoubtably the greatest part of the wedding. They're professionalism and musical talents were both exemplary and they were highly accommodating in every facet we requested. They learned a couple of popular songs which did not lend themselves to a band orchestration but Charisma learned and performed them impeccably. Marie kept in contact with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding which allowed us to focus on other portions, which was greatly appreciated. We could not imagine the wedding without Charisma.

Simply put, Charisma made the party! They were excellent. They played for 5 hours, with 1 hour of classical guitar during our cocktail reception, and a couple of short breaks as expected. Their versatility was remarkable, and the timing was just right, playing slower music during dinner, and then had everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. They played new and old, but everything had a great dance beat. Everyone raved abut the band, and how much fun they had at the party. As the host, I truly appreciated their professionalism. They took care of everything, and I didn't have to worry. I really can't say enough about the band and our positive experience.

Charisma truly helped make our wedding day special! Their energy and talent kept the dance floor completely full the whole night. They played a variety of music, but all songs were entertaining and great to dance to. They were also very easy to work with. They were understanding when we requested to incorporate some South African wedding traditions and worked with us to make it happen. Charisma crushed it. When the first course hit the table at my wedding, they picked up the pace, and people abandoned their salads to hit the dance floor. I've been to enough weddings to know that isn't common; it usually takes some heavy coaxing to get people away from their food.
Marie was responsive, kind, and full of wisdom accumulated over hundreds of weddings. The two song requests we made for them to learn were done perfectly.
My wedding was full of worship musicians, jazz players, professionals, hobbyists, and everything in between. I myself am a lifelong musician (jazz, classical, funk, rock...). Every single person was blown away.
Hire them.

Charisma is beyond fabulous! They were just perfection at our wedding. All of the musicians were so talented and such great performers, the whole night was a blast. Marie and charisma were great.
They were in touch before hand - made sure we were happy with our song selections and introductions.
They nailed everything we asked them to play and kept people on the dance floor all night. We had a varied and at times unusual request list for the night but they made it work.
Overall they were great. I would highly recommend them for a friend's wedding.

Charisma was fantastic! They were not only easy to coordinate with, they also happily learned two new songs per our request and played them expertly; and most importantly kept all of our guests up and dancing the entire night! We also loved that they could play acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour (also played expertly and hit exactly the vibe we wanted) and made it so easy to coordinate. My daughter was married over the weekend and Charisma played at our reception. Their talent and professionalism was evident from the first song they sang through to last. We hosted a family breakfast the morning after the wedding and every single one of our guests remarked how much they enjoyed dancing to, and listening to, Charisma. We booked the entire event through the internet and Mitch and Marie, the band's client facing members, were just great to work with. Looking at the five-star evaluation one can easily assertain our satisfaction with the group.
