We were very satisfied with the performance of the group at our daughter's wedding reception. The sound and music selection was great. We received many comments from our guests about how much they had enjoyed the mariachi.

The Mariachi Nuevo Sonido is a fantastic group of performers. They were the highlight of the wedding reception and the guests loved them. They arrived on time, escorted the wedding party from the plaza to the Garcia Opera House which was a perfect venue for them. They played for each table and were able to accomodate special requests. The bride and groom were extremely happy with them and said they were the perfect touch for their wedding. We had several people ask for additional information so they could hire them for later events. So thank you!

Mariachi Nuevo Sonido provided terrific entertainment at our family gathering. They made the night a memorable one and had everyone from our one year old grandson to my 87 year old mother dancing. The night would not have been the same without them. I recommend them without reservation.

We had a large dinner for about 160 people and the band arrived as scheduled about 30 minutes into the dinner. When they came into the meeting room it was magic. Mariachi music can't help but make for a happy event and this group is excellent.

The Mariachi Nuevo Sonido are a very talented group and performed exceptionally well for our wedding reception. I would have been completely satisfied and excited to recommend them to others had it not been for the fact that they arrived to our wedding reception 1.5 hours late. Some of our friends and family had left before they were able to arrive and missed the opportunity to see them perform. Also, we had to scramble and fill in the gap. It seems to me that this group should have left their previous event when agreed upon (which apparently ran late) and honored our contract by arriving on time. We all have to hire them for a specific amount of time anyway.

Mariachi Nuevo Sonido was very late for this performance due to a previous commitement at church when the mass started late and instead of an hour it became a 2 hr mass; the client has very good reason to be upset. Fortunately, we were able to perform and those that were still there enjoyed the performance. Definetly a very stressful time for us.

I was overall happy with the performance of Mariachi Nuevo Sonido.The reason I gave them low scores on some of the questions is because on Gigmasters website Mariachi Nuevo Sonido was to consist of seven members. Though the group showed up on time, we received only 4 of the 7 members, which I don't think is acceptable. During the hour performance, one of the performers was on his cell phone, which is not professional.

The music was absolutely fabulous. The only issue was when I called the week before to confirm the arrangement, the band leader advised me they would be 20 minutes later than expected because He had a prior engagement and that the rate he quoted was hourly not a flat rate. This required additional negotiation on the day of the event and caused some tension when the band threatened to cancel. Ultimately, we worked it out, the musicians showed up and the performance went off very well albeit 20 minutes later than initially expected. It was my impression that the band may have mistakenly accepted my request when he had another prior engagement.
