Every aspect of working with Danny and the Mixx was phenomenal! Easy to book, great music, incredibly professional. These guys are not a garage band. They are the real deal. This was the best money I spent on my wife's surprise 50th birthday party. She--and everyone--absolutely loved them!

Amazing! Awesome! So much fun! Danny J answered emails in moments and made that portion of wedding planning a breeze! Super accommodating and helpful! There sets were so fun, I got complements from all my guests! I loved that the singers cam down to the dance floor and interacted with the guests!!!
The Mixx made my wedding the best night of my life!

The Band's leader, "Danny" was fantastic to deal with. He helped us pull off our event and worked with our AV vendor to provide sound through their equipment to save on budget. Every time I sent Danny an e-mail, he returned them quickly. Didn't even have to call him. We were comfortable from the start. Band was great. Always smiling on stage and working with the crowd. Thanks again to Danny and the Mixx Band!

We were absolutely thrilled with Danny and his group, The Mixx. Not only was the band fabulous music and energy-wise, but Danny made everything super, super easy for us. They're clearly experienced with weddings, can keep things moving forward as MC if you need it, and were just a lot of fun to work with. My husband said that he was a bit wound up when he arrived at the wedding site (day-of), but after talking to Danny, he felt a lot more at ease. We had a range of ages at our wedding and got a ton of compliments on the band. Thanks so much for contributing to a fantastic evening!

All I can say is WOW. The MIXX band is outstanding from start to finish. Danny J is extremely responsive to all e-mails in a very timely fashion. He even made a visit out to my venue before we were under contract to be sure the venue would be suitable for everything I had desired the band to do! It is a true testament to how Danny J takes care of his customers. The musical capabilities of the band is AMAZING. Not only did they truly get the party started but, they also are SO talented. The wide array of instruments & vocals within the band is just awesome and their songs are flawless. Just outstanding! I would recommend the MIXX over & over again.

Fun! Fun! Fun! They were great and fabulous like my wedding! I had a loud, fun and energetic crowd and they made us louder and more fun which I didn't think was possible. They were great to work with from start to end. The singers were fabulous and engaged the crowd and we all had "Moves like Jagger" by the end of the night.

They did a fantastic job entertaining a very diverse cross section of music era and genre. They entertained ages from mid thirties to mid eighties. Everyone had a great time and they kept a full crowd dancing until after 1:00 AM. Very satisfied and looking forward to the MIXX doing more events for us in the future.

We hired the Mixx for our September Sonoma wedding and we could not have been happier with them! from the booking process to the actual wedding day, they were super fast to respond and easy to work with-- they even learned a handful of new songs for our ceremony and party. Their level of musicianship is stellar and they had everyone at our wedding up on their feet all night with awesome energy and great variety of music. People are still talking about how much fun they had dancing all night and we have the Mixx to thank for it!

Thank you to the Mixx from making our day so memorable. Our music is so important to us, and you guys didn't fail to deliver. We talked about our needs, and you listened. At the ceremony itself, your guitarist, Lare Garcia, entertained our guests while waiting for the bride and then played the most amazing blues riff for the Katherine's bridal entrance... You were all flexible in playing longer while cocktail hour led into a longer dinner than expected... Carolyn belted out a great version of our first dance At Last, and when Jerry danced and sang amongst us, all of the crowd went wild. Perfect wedding, with a perfect band. Bloody brilliant !

The MIXX surpassed all our wedding entertainment expectations. Working with Danny J on everything from the contract, song list, first dance, to connecting a PA to a grand piano, proved to be a breeze. Highly attentive and great communication, all before the wedding even started! The band played a wide variety of songs, the male and female lead singers AWESOME, and the band flawless. The MIXX even MC'd the reception, with the option to play the ceremony/cocktail hour. At the end, Danny even presented us with a gift bag as a send-off. Awesome.
Compared to the other bands that we were scouting, the MIXX was the BEST choice we could have ever made. Five stars.

These guys (and Gal) were awesome! From the very start, there was open communication and a desire to ensure complete satisfaction. I had at least a dozen people come up to me during the party and say 'Great Band!'. They were just awesome, entertaining, easy to work with, nice as can be, and they can really play! Great variety too. Fantastic job, you guys rock!

The quality and timing of the music was perfect, exciting and kept everyone dancing. Even with a full dance floor, the band went out into the crowd and sucessfully encouraged the more reticent attendees to join in. As mother of the bride, I was able to relax and let them correctly assess the appropriate mix for the moment. Perfection.

This band is FANTASTIC. They played at my wedding and everyone has been telling me how much they enjoyed the band. They did a great job of keeping everyone dancing and having fun. My experience with Radio Active was GREAT. They danceed in the crowd as they sang which made everyone want to come to the dance floor. They played older music and up to date music, there was something for everyone. Even the hotel staff was dancing because the music was great. I would hire them again and again.

Wow! Radio Active is a class act - polite, flexible, talented, and gracious - four attributes rately found together in a band of this calibre. They were EXTREMELY easy to work with, no shred of ego on display here - these guys (and gal) know how to make an event coordinator's job easy when it comes to dealing with the band. When we made a request that they move some of their on stage equipment during a slide show in order to allow the whole room to view it, I expected that I would get some complaints from them, but they cheerfully moved the equipment without any protest. When I told them that things had been pushed back by over half an hour, they were very understanding of the situation. As I said, they are extremely easy to work with.
Their talent level is nothing short of amazing. From the moment I introduced them to the end of the night, they kept the dance floor jumping. Everything from their wonderful selection of multigenerational dance music to their musical ability to their on stage presence was top notch. The dance floor was absolutely packed, and when I broke in for announcements and suggested they "take 5", I got bood! They are the very definition of a "crowd-pleaser."
I cannot give them a high enough recommendation. They are worth every penny we paid them and I am hoping to use them at another event in the future.
