We had Nesta (Abby & Dan) play our wedding ceremony and during the reception cocktail hour. They were perfect during both. While planning the wedding, Abby gave us some great suggestions on which songs worked best for the main parts of the ceremony. In addition to the usual parts (processional, recessional, etc.), we wanted a song to be played during our unity sand ceremony. We really wanted Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle" so Abby and Dan learned it. It was perfect! Later, Nesta provided the perfect feel for cocktail hour--a cool, fun vibe, that still allowed guests to converse. Many of our friends and family later told us how much they enjoyed the steel drums.

Abby and Dan were so wonderful. They were prompt, polite, friendly to our guests and incredibly talented!!! They lent just the right vibe to our outdoor party. Everyone commented on how great they sounded. We could not have been more pleased and would recommend them in an instant!!

Dan was amazing with our (800) elementary school children. It is not easy to grab their attention for half an hour but Dan had them under his spell. The children were impressed by his skills and the event was a great start to kick off our special school week. Thanks for your help!

Fabulous entertainers! Our guests were extremely impressed with their professionalism and music. It was the perfect choice for a nice back-yard party. The music was beautiful , yet not over-powering. Guests could still have a nice conversation and enjoy the ambience. Would DEFINITELY recommend Nesta!

We had a great rehersal dinner from my son's wedding and the Nesta group (with only two musicians)pulled it all to gether. Great communication, great feedback from guests and great flexability as we had to interupt several time for gifts, DVD, Comments...etc. We only had an hour and 15 minutes to set up. with all the other decoration...never worried about Nesta. ~NESTA~ steel drum band were awesome! ALl my guests loved their MUSIC much variety, great pix's. My only regret is I wasn't able to hire the complete band :( but, they sure sounded great! very NICE people Abby and DAn!

OMG they were the greatest. My guests are still raving about the band. My neighbors all came out on their balconies and porches to listen to them play. My party was a HUGE success in good part to the beautiful perfect backdrop music. I cannot rave about this band enough. I truly felt like I was on vacation in my own backyard.

Having grown up with steel drums in the Virgin Islands, we thought we'd add a little bit of island flavor to our nuptials by having Nesta Steel drum band play for our wedding ceremony on beach and during our cocktail hour at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica, California. We were very impressed with their professionalism, the variety of songs they knew and how well they played...My only regret is that I did not get to hear (or dance to) much of their performance during the cocktail hour because we were busy with our photographer after the ceremony. I certainly hope to find another opportunity to have them play in the future!
